'Dancing' Kathy Ireland Gets 7 Stitches

Just one day after former house majority leader Tom DeLay revealed he has a "pre-stress fracture" while rehearsing with 'Dancing With The Stars,' one-time model Kathy Ireland has announced she received seven stitches. But Ireland wasn't on the dance floor when she hurt herself. While surfing with her son Erik, a wave caused her board to flip up against the side of her leg, causing the deep gash. According to Us Weekly, she'll still participate in Monday's show.

'Dancing' partner Tony Dovolani told Ireland to "go out and have some fun" because she'd been working so hard. She hit the beach with her family. According to E! News, Dovolani told her kids to "make sure she doesn't do anything to injure herself."

After her injury, Ireland was stitched up by her husband, Greg Olsen, an ER doctor at a nearby hospital in Santa Barbara, California.

Season 9 will debut on Monday, Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. on ABC.

What, is Cheryl going to be the first one to leave this year? Why is it everytime she makes second place, the next year she gets a super crappy partner? NOT FAIR!!!!!!
