Singer Pink suffered a separated shoulder and was unable to do the aerial parts of her trapeze-heavy show in Seattle on Tuesday night, her rep told PEOPLE. "I never knew exactly what Carey was going through when he broke his collarbone. Now I now. This hurts," she wrote on Twitter. Pink admits she's not sure when it happened but it was probably during a rehearsal."It kinda feels like 50 angry invisible demon fairies are stabbing me," she added. "I fell. I'm an idiot. can do trapeze all day long, but don't let me walk around."
Despite her injury, the singer has decided not to cancel any of her upcoming concert dates. "The show must go on," her rep said.

I bet it was the damn skateboards she and Carey bought their first day in Seattle! Hope she gets better before her Philly show. I want to see some trapeze action!

I with you! She's awesome and they are adoreable together (and apart!)
LOVE Pink. Saw her in concert years ago, the single best concert I have ever seen. What a performer! Her voice is amazing. She writes, sings and performs. That is really rare.

I followed the link to this site from WonderWall celeb news site. I will not be returning to that site because of their comments about Pink's injury(it was actually the first time I visited the site anyway). I doubt the writer of that blurb saw her concert and has any idea of what he/she is talking about. Pink is a multi-talented ARTIST, and why shouldn't she do acrobatics if she wants to? Someone always has to put a negative spin on everything. She didn't even hurt herself performing or rehearsing for her show. It takes more than you can imagine to put on a show like hers....
Unfortunately, there are not many class acts like Pink out there, and it is a shame that so many people talk out of their a**es. I attended the Seattle show (drove four hours each way), and it was BY FAR the most incredibly choreographed show I have EVER seen. (And I have been to at least a hundred concerts in my life time.)
When Pink came on stage, her presence was absolutely electrifying. (Opening act The Ting Ting's were enjoyable, but paled in comparison.) Pink talked about having an injured shoulder, but the show did not suffer in the least. Pink, however, was no doubt suffering through it, but she never showed it for a second. She didn't cut the show short, and I was shocked by the value we got for the price of the tickets. Tickets to Cirque D' Soleil go for hundreds each, and Pink's show was similar in style; part fantasy, part rock concert. (Okay, a lot of both!!)
Her rendition of "I Touch My Self" was so f*cking hot...I have never had a girl crush before, but holy hell she put the Divnyls to shame. Too bad for me; I didn't think she'd take me up on my offer to head back to my room at the Motel 6 with me....damn, maybe next time. :D
I must also comment on Pink's ability to read her audience and understand the people she is performing for. Most concert goers are not rich; we go when there is someone/thing we MUST SEE, gulp at the cost of the tickets, remind ourselves that we can't take it with us, life is a crazy ride, and we might as well have a good time.
Pink obviously understands that...fame and fortune have not compromised her integrity, she doesn't conform, she makes no excuses and exudes more confidence and bravery than most people carry in their little finger.
Some celebs are jumping on the "poor economy" bandwagon...they want to be seen as making adjustments in their own lives so their excess and greed doesn't turn us off to them completely. Pink actually changed the lyrics in a few of her songs to show her support to those struggling. "Get This Party Started" had the lines about "looking flashy in my Mercedes Benz" and her ice and platinum rings omitted...she didn't fill them in with something else, just stopped singing when those line came up. It showed me that she is more in touch with reality than most. She was funny, dynamic, and all about her fans. She didn't dupe us with lip-synching or other such crap, and her voice sounded incredible in every song.
The concert was two days ago, and I still have no voice from cheering. I haven't partied like that since I was in high school! (Not THAT long ago, but twelve years and two kids takes a toll!)
If you have a chance to see her perform, GO!!!! For f*ck's sake, don't think twice!! It will be a night to remember, and get floor admission, because she comes into the center of the floor to do her slower songs. Hats off to her backup singers and band....sh*t her lead guitarist can rip. The Led Zeppelin tribute was mind-blowing.
Pink is a born rock star....not pop star. There is nothing "pop" about her...except maybe her sequin pasties, but that's another story. :D (Damn she's hot!) Screw WonderWall. WTF

i agree 100 % we waited months to see her,,,watched the VMA,s and couldnt wait to see her in person! And we were not disappointed! IT WAS THE BEST CONCERT WE HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!!!!!! I too have been to many concerts and this was the best ever!!!!!!
I first saw Pink in NYC about ten years ago, when pink was just a color for girls. I saw her again last sunday night and there is no one that can hold a candle to her. I was very disappointed that she couldnt do the trapeze but she doesnt need all that drama of the circus to make her great. God bless both Pink and Carey. They will last forever I am sure.
