Charlize Theron Won't Get Married Until Gay Friends Can

Actress Charlize Theron has no plans to marry her boyfriend of eight years, Stuart Townsend until there is marriage equality. On Thursday's episode of 'The View,' the actress revealed, ""I don't want to get married because right now the institution of marriage feels very one-sided, and I want to live in a country where we all have equal rights," Theron said.

"I have so many friends who are gays and lesbians who would so badly want to get married, that I wouldn't be able to sleep with myself," she added. Watch the video (forward to 5:45), or read her interview with MovieFone where she also discusses gay marriage.

If I start mimicking something another group does-don't I have to call it something else? If I mimic McDonald's I have to call my restaurant something else, if I mimic the Lion's club group and their rituals I must think of a different name. Even if I set up a religion with exactly the same beliefs-it still can't be called Baptist.
So if gays want to set up house togther-or people think they have a "right" to "marry" their pet -or multiple partners- or some other sexual aberration , call it something else because it's NOT marriage. I do not feel threatened by gays, I am just disgusted by their attempts at hijacking an already established institution.
