Kate Not Phased by Kathy's Mocking

It looked to be a showdown on daytime television: Kate versus Kathy on 'The View.' But that's not what happened at all.

Kate Gosselin and Kathy Griffin faced each other on the chat-fest Friday, as a guest-host and guest respectively, and things were fine -- despite Griffin's recent sketch on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' where she played an exasperated Gosselin, complete with tummy-tuck scars. Watch

The segment called 'Kate Is Enough' was aired, and afterward, the ladies talked about it.

"The funny thing is, I watched it online ... and I caught myself just like cracking up out loud," the real Gosselin said.

The pair then joked about posing in Playboy together and smoothly switched topics for the rest of Griffin's time.

Complaining about popeater, any AOL news source, or the Associated Press, is an exercise of futility. I don't know why you bother posting it in the comments at all. I'm sure all of us caught the mistake, and I'm sure they'll never read their own comments. I have sent emails about this, but I don't think they'll really start caring until more people do it instead of whining in comments where nobody really cares.

If Kate is lucky enough to get on T V other than the "Jon and Kate, Plus Eight",show, good for her. Since her and Jon are parting way's, she has those children and it takes a lot of money to raise that many. As for Kathy Griffin, I do not like her since I heard her make terrible remarks about Jesus. There are too many people out there she can make fun of, but she should be careful when it comes to Jesus.

Does Popeater have no other coverage other than Kate "the breeder"? So sick of seeing this no talent, ego centric, nobody. WHY DOES SHE NEED A BODY GUARD?! She is never with her children even here at home. She has Nannies taking care of them. So what ever you want to say about Jon, at least he spends time with the kids. Remember people this woman was charging 20 bucks for her autograph and in church people were told to stay away from her. Yeah she's great!

I say good for Kate to be getting her foot in the T V door so to speak. That's where the money is. She has a family and she can sure use the money with all those kids to raise. It seems to me, people feel sorry for Jon, but even though he wants a divorce, he seems to be acting like a child running around with this woman and that. One day he will look back and wish he had acted more like an adult instead of an adolescent!

People keep bad mouthing Kate for traveling, working, etc. She is now a singly mom with 8 mouths to feed. She certainly cannot rely on the dim wit she was married to. He is blowing through his money on fast cars and young girls while she has set up trust funds for her childrens education. Had all this been left to Jon for the past 5 years they would have nothing. She is doing what she has to do to take care of these kids. Yes, she is a nurse...could you support, by yourself, 8 kids on a nursing salary..don't think so....give her credit for being a smart money manager and looking out for her kids best interest.

Why would Kate care? Anything that keeps her in the news is good news for her. She's trying to extend her 15 minutes of fame before decending into obscurity. This is her big ticket so when some hack clownette like Griffin does a gig on her its just more attention

And it's still not fixed, nobody home.

You know, I see the same kind of talent writing / making up odd headlines in my local newspaper and have to wonder how they got that job. Online you figure they just don't get paid much as "contributors" just filling up space and don't have qualifications, but a newspaper oughta have higher standards.
