Kate cant say anything without saying *Umm* first, that in itself is annoying enough. If they put thier kids first they wouldnt be having problems with each other. She is a control freak and he needs a mommy. Kate is probably just upset because she cant tell Jon when to go to the bathroom anymore and he is just upset because he had to be an adult and take care of his kids instead of being the little boy that he is and playing with his toys.

I can't stand either of these yahoos, or any of the mega families that Discovery and TLC glorify. All any of these people have done for society is have children. Lots of children. It's time to start promoting shows about people who actually do something for society instead of people who are so narcissistic all they want to do is reproduce themselves.

Why do I read these articles? In the hopes that one of them will say that Jon & Kate +8 is off the air.

Some people like watching shows about families. Having kids is not a bad thing. If people stopped having kids you would not have had the teachers, doctors, and others you think should be shown on television doing something good for the world. It seems a lot of people are jealous of Kate because she has so many kids, is pretty, intelligent, and works hard. Why? Oh yeah, she came across as bitc@y on her tv show. So what, I can think of worse personality traits, at least those more worthy of the contempt so many show her.

Jessica - I am not saying people should not have children, but please... 19 kids for the Duggars? 9 kids for a couple, now split up, that don't even work? Nadia Suleman, also not working, with 14, most of the latest 8 have or will probably develop health problems? The Duggars are not raising their kids, their older kids are, while mother is pregnant again, the last one is barely 8 months old; Kate may be pretty in your eyes but was certainly not the looker when she started out - she has had a lot of cosmetic surgery that she did not pay for, the sponsors and TLC did to make her more palatable to the audience, and she and Jon are certainly not raising those kids on their own, they have nannies and round the clock help.

And one more thing to consider, overpopulation is a real threat in this world. There is a finite amount of water, and a growing population means less and less farmland due to construction of housing, In Brazil more and more rainforests are being clear cut to provide grazing and farmland to supply food for increasing populations. China is so overpopulated that it has a one child policy. California has had drought conditions for the past three years, Australia longer. In this day and age, having huge families is not only egotistical on its face, it is downright irresponsible. 100 years ago large families were needed to help on the farm; there was no birth control, and children often did not survive past their fifth year. This is no longer the case in Western civilizations.

And for the record, I am not jealous of Kate Gosselin, far from it. What I am is disgusted that so many people thing she is a celebrity and someone to be admired.

AMEN! Neither of them are putting their children first. There are two of the most self centered people I have ever seen.

Why is the public making two sick, self-centered people rich? They are both horrible parents...kids act like brats...why are they top rated show? We need some good shows like the old days..Cosby, Cheers etc...People watch kids crying, screaming etc...for entertainment...how sad is our society? Feel really bad for this family...kids will never know normal, or love as these two people only love themselves.

I happen to enjoy the show, and have since the very first season. I firmly believe that if it takes two to make a marriage, then it takes two to break a marriage. Sure they were under a lot of pressure from outside...who isn't. Still, I think Kate is doing a wonderful job raising her children alone. Jon is making himself look really stupid with his ever growing bald spot, hair plugs, oversized whitened teeth, earrings and pot belly. He's to stupid to realize that these young women he's running through like paper towels are only latching on to him for a season. When they get their fill, they will be gone.

It just makes me so sad the fact that in this day and age that people can have children and use them for their own means. Some people would love to have even one child and give it what it needs and deserves.....they are not parents in any manner, means or form...may God forgive them for all they have done.

You are so right. Enough with the Goslins TLC PLEASE GET RID OF THEM I am so tired of her whining and his smiling about the women he now gets. You never hear about the kids which was the reason for the show in the first place. Since Kate showed her true self last season with her relatives I quit watching the show. Now I have to change channels because all the comercials now too. They are so full of themselves......

Re; Paul: If I had a gut feeling that something was very wrong and it involved my children, I don't give a rat's ass what Whoopi said or you too about that I had no right to return to my own home...Not when I have an ex-husband who enjoys the company of convicted felons like Lindsay Lohans father (what a perfect role model that is)...And if my ex-husband also enjoys the company of a known ilegal drug dealer who was arrested and charged with possession of pot, hash and hashish oil which is his girlfriend, the daughter of the doctor who operated on Kate...So if my gut feeling told me soemthing was wrong in my own home, mind you it's my home and the ex-husband has a New City apartment that he bought for himself...Then, no matter what it is my right to return to my home....Especially as the ex-husband who is a "guest" in my home because he has his own residence, and that ex now has a perfect stranger there inside my house without my knowledge and permission, period...Whoopi is off the mark on this big time and you too...Why would you allowed your ex-wife to do the same with yours...Every mother there should remind her of her younger mothering years and how her gut feeling aka "womens intutition" helped her, too.

As a woman-I say right on Paul! Who the hell gave Kate the right to emotionally and physically abuse anyone? Alot of these posts KEEP SAYING SHE IS A SINGLE MOM. Last I read-they TRADE custody, and when she's at women's expos, book signings, on "The View", at the spa, humping the bodyguard and who knows what else-Jon is watching the kids. I couldnt agree with you more Paul. Whoopi had every right to put Kate in a corner the way she did. She had NO RIGHT to go to the house on her NON scheduled day just cuz she had a " FEELING" well clearly she was wrong as the police made HER LEAVE!!!
