Al Roker Left in the Shadows By World's Tallest Man

Al Roker was left looking pretty small when taking his place next to 8 foot 1 inch Sultan Kosen, the world's tallest man, during his visit to 'The Today Show' on Monday.

The 27-year-old Kosen was visiting the morning show to promote the latest edition of the Guinness Book of World Records.

NBC reports that Kosen was diagnosed with pituitary gigantism at age 10 after doctors discovered a tumor behind his eyes; the tumor had put excess pressure on his pituitary gland and caused his extreme growth. He underwent a series of surgeries that finally did the trick in stopping his growth last year.

"Up until now, I've really had a difficult life," Kosen told Lauer and Meredith Vieira.. "But I'm happy. From now, I'm really going to have it a lot easier."

Was nice to the GIANT BUT a small item was left out he didnt look like he was from the usa lol didnt know how to speak english soo where was he from NBC you Screwed up on that...

First of all,i don't like Al Roker,wish they'd take him off the weather channel.I will not watch again until they do.NBC, knows how to ruin everything,just like their pre-game for football,i feel like i'am watching MNBC NEWS,and not football coverage. I love the celbs,taking those shots,or anyone for that matter,shows how they love themselves,and feel good. everyone have a great week
