"Her name is Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery. She was born Sept. 15," a rep for the actress tells Us.
Stella is the first child for the couple, who announced Pompeo's pregnancy in April.
This isn't the only 'Anatomy' baby news. Katherine Heigl and her husband adopted a girl from Korea. Chyler Leigh -- who plays Pompeo's half-sister on the show -- gave birth last May. And Eric Dane (a.k.a McSteamy) is rumored to be expecting a child with his wife Rebecca Gayheart, although they have not confirmed the news.

I think Stella Luna is beautiful and probably has some significance to Ellen Pompeo who has Italian roots. So what if it's also the name of a book about a bat. J-Lo named her twins Max and Emme, the two kids from Dragon Tales.
