Ellen Pompeo Welcomes Little McBaby!

'Grey's Anatomy' star Ellen Pompeo and her music producer husband Chris Ivery are proud parents of a baby girl, Usmagazine.com reports.

"Her name is Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery. She was born Sept. 15," a rep for the actress tells Us.

Stella is the first child for the couple, who announced Pompeo's pregnancy in April.

This isn't the only 'Anatomy' baby news. Katherine Heigl and her husband adopted a girl from Korea. Chyler Leigh -- who plays Pompeo's half-sister on the show -- gave birth last May. And Eric Dane (a.k.a McSteamy) is rumored to be expecting a child with his wife Rebecca Gayheart, although they have not confirmed the news.

Stella Luna, loosely translated from Italian, means "little midnite star". I'm pretty sure it has meant that long before the rat story. Try expanding your world beyond children's books.

OMG. Stella Luna is a children's book about a BAT !!! These pseudo celebrities are all crazy. Apple, Moses, Moxie Crimefighter, Stella Luna, Sparrow...what next? Goodnight Moon? Fuzzy Wuzzy? Miss Sopider? How about Curious George?

I think Stella Luna is beautiful and probably has some significance to Ellen Pompeo who has Italian roots. So what if it's also the name of a book about a bat. J-Lo named her twins Max and Emme, the two kids from Dragon Tales.

Stella is a normal name. Freddie Prinze jr and Sarah Michelle Gellar also chose a normal name for their daughter Charlotte. Maybe this will start a trend! We can only hope,,lol

When I watched the Season premiere of Grey's Anatomy, I thought Ellens face looked fuller. They weren't showing her body which made me suspicious that she was pregnant. Congrats!
