'Angels' Star Jaclyn Smith Is Not Dead

Jaclyn Smith wants you to know that she is alive. The 'Charlie's Angels' star took to her Facebook and Twitter to deny reports that she had shot herself in Honduras, PEOPLE reports.

"Jaclyn is safe and home with her family. She is not in Honduras. It is a lie," the actress wrote on her personal sites.

Her rep added, "Totally untrue. She is fine, spoke to her this morning."

The rumor began when a Honduran newspaper reported that her 'Angels' stunt double had shot herself, and several sites misread the news.

"It was her 'Charlie's Angels' stunt-double, Sandra Franklin, but details are unknown at this time," Jay Schwartz, a rep for the star, tells EOnline.com.

I had the wonderful opportunity of meeting Jaclyn Smith years ago. She HAS to be the classiest and most naturally gorgeous person I have ever seen. From whatever angle she turns - her face is perfect. She is soft spoken and articulate as well as being an accomplished dancer, a good actress, super mom with very close bonds with her family and is a truly good human being down to her soul. Anyone writing anything negative about her is just jealous or misinformed. By the way,she just gets more beautiful with every year.

Natalie Wood used to live nextdoor to my grandparents on Summit Ridge Drive. My grandfather told me that he used to see several men leave her house "unshaven and deshevled" at 5:00 AM routinely ...
