Jude Law Is a Father... Again

Less than two months after he revealed that a model he dated was pregnant with his child, Jude Law is a father... again. Samantha Burke, a 24-year-old aspiring actress, gave birth to daughter Sophia on Tuesday night, PEOPLE reports. The two met while Law was filming 'Sherlock Holmes' last year, but they are no longer a couple.

The family friend was candid during the PEOPLE interview, revealing Law has had little involvement in Burke's life. "I doubt Jude was there... Besides the financial support, he's not involved," the source said.

Law has three other children with ex-wife Sadie Frost.

Law's rep acknowledged the pregnancy in a statement released last July after reports surfaced in the media that Burke was expecting.

"Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year," the actor's rep said. "Mr. Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child's life. This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made."

Good heavens! What has come over celebs the past few days - they are naming their children with normal names! Freddy and Sarah Printz with daughter Charlotte Grace, and Jude Law's newest child, Sophia!

I am sick and tired of hearing of these people who are in the public eye, such as actors/actresses, and professional sports players(such as idiot Pats QB Tom Brady), having children out of wedlock. Yes, they create a baby out of love, and at no fault of the baby, the parents have bastard children. To sum it up, I am not happy for Jude Law and Samatha Burke. Can you say 'MORAL DECAY OF AMERICA'?? At least they're not in Muslim countries. I'd hate to imagine what would happen to at least the female if they weren't married and 'with child' in countries such as the theocratic country of Iran.
