'Dancing With the Stars' professional Karina Smirnoff takes off all her clothes for a new PETA ad.The campaign shows Karina dancing nude. "I'd rather dance naked than wear fur," the slogan reads.
"I did wear fur, especially when I was growing up in the Ukraine," Smirnoff says, Usmagazine.com reports. But she claims she stopped once she saw a video of baby seals being killed for their skin.

No wonder she and Maxim broke up.

Karina is HOT_HOT_HOT! Wow....I know she's not "naked" but what we (don't?) see is just fabulous...what a beautiful young woman!

this is truely a joke,,,there so worried about saving the many type's of animals i love to hunt but useing these nude woman...what about the millions of young kids that see these ad's, shouldn't they be protect from theses types of slim ad's..are they telling the young american girls its ok to run around without cloths on, if so i have 4 son's that will love that, but till then i guess we will all keep hunting/fishing so we can make more wonderful memories of our trips before i go to the big woods in the sky..ok time for football...

While Karina may not have the most attractive facial features, her body is something to behold. She could pose nude in favor of Barney Frank, and I would still look at her. Who cares what the cause is, if more hot bodied women took their clothes off to get my attention, it would draw my attention to them, not their "cause" Peta is a waste of my time, but I enjoy their ads. (like this one)

This PETA crap is going to far. God put all these animals on earth to help feed us humans or meat wouldn't taste so good. I love chicken, turkey, beef & ham. It's all so yummy! Come on folks, let's get real and grow some brains. Eat up and enjoy! Enough on the PETA nonsense. What do you think the native americans used many years ago to stay warm? Need I say furs from animals. You'd wear furs to if it meant that you were going to freeze your but off. I like your answer Pat Miller and right you are.

yeah, the difference is that the Native Americans didn't get their furs from fur farms off of animals who's whole short lives were spent in cramped, unsheltered cages. They also didn't use animals just for their pelts, they put almost 100% of a kill to use. You can't compare the fur industry of today with native people wearing fur for protection and warmth.
I'm not a member of PETA, and the organization itself really bothers me, but what bothers me just as much is people refusing to see cruelty just because it's PETA talking to them. I'm not a vegitarian, but I can say that I don't buy my meat from a grocery store because it comes from big farms where the animals go through hell and I won't support that. Even if you don't want to go vegitarian, it is true that you don't NEED meat to survive, and to say that God but tens of thousands of other species on this planet just to support us is exactly why I hate christian phillosphy. There's nothing that excuses the way that humans treat other species. Nothing.
I agree why would that nasty ass want to mess up something as elegant as fur!!! I have seen better looking asses on a mule.

I have my own fur , no need to wear any other. Hell I even got kicked out of a nudist colony because they thought I was wearing a woolen body suit!

I am not a PETA member as I think some of their ideas and philosophys are too radical BUT they do have good points on some very horrific issues. I think anyone who wears fur should have to ck out "chinese fur farms" on their browser before donning anything fur. It is appaling and sickening to see what those heartless bastards do to animals (skinning them alive, beating, bludgeoning them) for "fashion". btw ..those cute lil fur animals ya see in stores? many of them have rabbit, cat and dog hair on them. There is no need for fur when we have such an assortment of synthetic and faux products out there. Once again GREED takes over. It's about the designers making the almighty buck. I applaud Karina and every celebrity who poses nude or otherwise and stands up for the cause. (and I was NOT a Karina fan before seeing that ad....kudos Karina!!)

Peta is the most hypocritical institution I have ever seen in my life. That is all.

I just think it unconscionable to wear fur when they are being killed to cover you ..when..its not necessary. Why criticize peta....if it weren't for them we would not know what goes on at puppy mills and factory farming.

peta needs to give it a rest. with all the problems that the US is having right now, animal rights shouldnt be a major concern. dont take that the wrong way, i hate animal abuse and all that, but, there are Marines and soldiers fighting overseas that dont even have adequate body armor because the govt. wont buy them the armor. start a fund for that or something. and that isnt even the biggest problem they are facing...

PETA should be outlawed.

It's not just PETA it is also the "humaine Society and the ASPCA, and ALL their supporters who on EVERY single blog without exception where the article is about Michael Vick or anyone else accused of abusing animals, ALL these animal rights types show their AVID support for terrorism and absolute hatred of humans and worship of animals.
They use these stories as excuses to say the most vicious advocacy of torture and the most extreme cruelty against people the can possibly think of.
All animals rights groups need to be outlawed as the extreme terrorist groups they are (far worse then GHamsa (which they support) and more fanatical then the Taliban.

We have room in our hearts and our country to be concerned about animals .....you just don't concentrate on one thing.....animal abuse is not a new thing.... I've been fighting it all my life....I just don't understand when it comes to animal abuse some idiot has to say"We should be concerned about people ".....shut up...most of the time people cause their own problems.....The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated......GHANDI

Soon it wont even be ok to kill a plant for food and clothing. Give it a rest already!!! Nature IS WHAT IT IS, Animals eat animals. Should we waste a perfectly good skin instead of using it?! Yes, animals should not be forced to live in horrific conditions, and should be killed humanely. But people will always use natural resources for food and clothing just like all other living creatures upon this earth. GET OVER IT!! The cheap advertising tactics do nothing to promote PETAs propaganda, it only serves to enable peoples weird psychological needs.

We have to say be concernd about people because animal activists lie about caring about torture and cruelty.
Babies after 40 days who fully FEEL the pain of the extremly cruel procedure get no sympathy from the abortion loving animal rights hypocrites.
Kids bullied in school did not make their own problems and a nation that demands murder and slow torture for anyone accused of abuse of animals and then balks at mild torture against terrorists is not a nation that will endure very long.
