Sarah Michelle and Freddie Prinze Jr. Welcome New Baby

Actress Sarah Michelle Prinze and Freddie Prinze, Jr. have their first child, a daughter they've named Charlotte Grace. PEOPLE reports that Prinze gave birth on Saturday, September 19 in Los Angeles. A rep for the actress said, "The family is over the moon."

'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' star Sarah Michelle recently changed her last name from Gellar to Prinze in preparation for parenthood. Freddie Prinze Jr. will star on the upcoming season of '24.' The couple, who co-starred in 'Scooby-Doo' in 2002, married in Mexico the same year.

I am very happy for them! They seem to be a couple that is not using the spotlight to do stupid acts, just to be filmed. Both of them are class acts! I wish them all the best and know that their child will grow up as level-headed as her parents are!

Finally a Hollywood couple having a child and giving her a normal name that she can go to school with and not stand out like a freak ....I know actors and actresses always need to stand out in a crowd but giving a child a ridiculously stupid name to satisfy their own selfish need to be noticed has to be the lowest. Congratulations to the parents and the lucky little girl!

I could not agree more. How can people be so selfish as to name their children in ways which make so many Americans angry. That is just unpatriotic. I say we start a petition and spend many hours, billions of dollars, and countless brain cells ensuring that such injustices are no longer tolerated. I mean really, the rest of us know far more about parenting than famous people because, well, they are rich and famous and we are just plain jealous?

I am so happy for both of them, normal parents with a normal named baby. If Freddie Prinze,Sr. were alive today, he would absolutely love that baby!
