From Angus to Beef, Great Moments in 'SNL' Hosting

Thirty-five years, and counting. '
Saturday Night Live,' which has been the subject of so many 'Saturday Night Dead' stories that the show should be on permanent life support, will start its 35th season on September 26th with 'Transformers' starlet
Megan Fox as host.
Women like Megan for her saucy attitude. Men like her for, well, other reasons. But will she make the grade for perhaps her most impossible mission since facing down the Decepticons?
More specifically, will she be another in a long line of memorable SNL hosts? Memorably good that is.
To celebrate SNL's embrace of middle age, let's look back at some (but by no means all!) of its finest hosts.
Videos after the jump.
Alec Baldwin (Season 24)
Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin are tied for first place in the number of times they have hosted SNL. Ana Gasteyer as an NPR host plays the perfect foil to Alec 'Mr. Schweddy' Baldwin.
George Carlin (Season 1)
Like my 9th grade English teacher always said, it's good to begin at the beginning. From his boundless energy running down a flight of stairs and making his way through a raucous crowd,
George Carlin set SNL off on its trademark irreverent mood that helped define the show as its very first host.
Christopher Walken (Season 28)
There's dead pan. And then there's Dead Pan.
Christopher Walken's ashen look and icy voice have made him one of Hollywood's most memorable supporting actors. Here Walken explores the mystery of the charms of Colonel Angus.
Justin Timberlake (Season 32)
Pretty boy popstars don't inspire a lot of respect in the musical world. They certainly don't get it in acting. In this video, former N'Sync lead vocalist and solo artist
Justin Timberlake takes his many gifts and puts them, well, in a box. (Note: Not to be watched with mom in the room.)
Will Ferrell (Season 34)
Former SNL utility man and comedic box office golden boy
Will Ferrell returns to his late night stomping grounds to match wits with Kathy Lee Gifford (Kristin Wiig), Tom Hanks (Tom Hanks), Sean Connery (Darrell Hammond) and Burt Reynolds (former Weekend Update anchor Norm Macdonald). Alex, please just take a deep breath...
Sacha Baron Cohen (Season 32)
Before 'Bruno', 'Sweeney Todd' and 'Talladega Nights', there was this little old film named 'Borat.' In this clip,
Sacha Baron Cohen portrays everyone's favorite tourist from Kazakhstan Borat Sagdiyez.
Paul Rudd (Season 34)
Paul Rudd is a little too handsome to be your typical comedian. However, his everyman charm has helped him in roles in 'Anchorman' and 'The 30 Year Old Virgin' and cemented his place in the Judd Apatow comedic repertory company.
Richard Pryor (Season 1)
I don't know if this sketch would make the cut today.
Richard Pryor and Chevy Chase go head-to-head, mano-a-mano in a racial satire which helped make SNL the Monday morning water cooler fodder that it needed to be to transform into an American comedic institution.
Kevin Spacey (Season 31)
Kevin Spacey can act. Whether it's his Academy Award winning turn in 'American Beauty' or role as the artistic director at London's Old Vic Theater, Spacey can hold his own. In this segment, SNL newbie Andy Samberg turns the tables on Mr. Spacey.
Shia LaBeouf (Season 32)
Who knew this Disney kid could be so funny? The Beef's standout moment came during one of Andy Samberg's 'Digital Shorts' that parodied melodramatic death scenes. 'Dear Sister' went on to parodied hundreds of times as well.

I absolutly LOVE "Dear Sister" I swear I can watch it over and over again. It is so freaking hysterical! I hope it never get's done again by anyone because it's one of those ones that you just can't capture again.
