Randy Quaid, Wife Cuffed in Texas

Randy Quaid and his wife Evi were arrested with authority, TMZ is reporting, as the couple had a felony arrest warrant issued for them earlier today. The 'Kingpin' actor and his better half reportedly put up a fight during the Texas arrest, and Evi was reportedly wrestled to the ground while screaming.

The couple allegedly dashed out on a $10,000 hotel bill -- and apparently this wasn't their first time.

According to RadarOnline.com reports, the Quaids were staying at the posh San Ysidro Ranch in June when the credit card they were using was denied. They promised hotel staff that a new card would be coming soon, but several days and thousands of dollars in charges later, they made like a tree.

They have been charged with three felony counts each: Defrauding an innkeeper, conspiracy and Burglary.

The famous couple have a history of eluding hotel bills, a source close to the investigation told Radar. The Quaids are also in the hole for $17,000 in unpaid bills to the Hotel Bel-Air and -- shockingly -- are said to be keeping an un-returned rental car in their Texas home.

Bail will be set at $20,000.

Movie stars of today are nothing like the ones in the forties and fifties. Those people had class. these young stars of today have the morals of an alley cat.They get a little famous and money in thier pockets and they don't know how to deal with it. I applaud Billy Cyrus trying to keep his daughter under control, but sooner or later she will go with the flow so to speak and his good advice that will keep her on the right track will fall on deaf ears!

In the 40s and the 50s the stars were owned by their studios. Their appearance and news reported activities were all heavily controlled by the studios. There was a huge amount of background 'clean up' work done to cover their 'errors''. Example: It was years later that the world knew that Loretta Young had given birth to an illegitimate child, and that Rock Hudson, James Dean and Montgomery Cliff were gay. They weren't 'classier'. They were 'taken care of'.

Actually, the stars aren't different. What has happened is their handlers don't protect the stars images like they did back in the 40s & 50s.
I mean they protected them so intensely then that there were marraiges arranged to cover for the gays, such as with Rock Hudson, & many scandals were avoided by the press being bought off by agents/handlers NO respect for the privacy of these idols/icons.
The old Hollywood just does not exist anymore, whether we like it or not.
I personally love Turner Classic movies & watch more of that channel than any other. I LOVE the illusion!!

Frankly, YOUR response strikes me as the typical excuse used by folks that don't have any class. Patrick Swayze staying with his wife for 30+ years = class. Gary Sinise personally traveling to Iraq to distribute educational needs to Iraqi schools, instead of whining and lying like a Hollywood Lib = class. The dumbing down of American society to the least common denominator in our effort to revere "diversity" and "not offend anyone" is driving us to a culture of "dumb."

When you are a celebrity even one on the "B" or "C" list you are use to all kinds of freebies being thrown at you. And some of these people come to think everything should be free and their millions should stay in the bank,maybe thats the problem here.
And yes, these are the very ones that back Obama all the way and love to trash the "greedy" no matter who they are. They want Obama to spend billions on everything and anything as long as it's not their money being added to the pile.
