Vintage Gaga: Raw Music, More Clothing

Before Lady Gaga was known for her outrageous fashion statements and "bleeding" onstage at the VMAs, she was just a typical brunette jamming on the piano. We came across this vintage footage (via Perez Hilton) of the 'Poker Face' singer playing a gig at The Bitter End -- and we have to admit it's pretty fascinating.

Well people this is what the music industry does!
Find talent, then mold and market them to what will make them money. She went for normal rock girl to crazy pop girl! I personally like both but it's sad when artist can't keep their original image.

Actually gaga's record company doesnt have anything to do with her image. What people dont realize is how honest and original gaga is. This was the old her, if she still wanted to be that person she would be. Her image is all her own. The hair, the makeup, and the clothes. She helps design it all. Her voice on her recordings? 100% hers. She brings something new to the table. Im sick of all these popstars with no creativity. Lady Gaga is genius. And notice it's not "Lady Gaga's record company is genius" because they have nothing to do with it. She's an orginial, and truly talented.

But I think that's the point. Her album is really good. But how many really good artist are out there and have come and gone? A ton. I was a bit put off by her "sense of style" to begin with. But after her VMA's performance, I get it now. In this business when good singers/musicians are a dime a dozen, one has to do something to stand out. No more evident than the number of comments stories about her tend to get. I think she's fabulous. And I can't wait to see not only what she's does next music wise, but what will she do to shock us all

Dennis Rodman looks better in drag than she does a women. I will admit that she can somewhat sing, but if she has soooo much talent then why on earth does she need the hidious outfits, that enhance how homely she is? It is sad that the music industry feels the need to make someone into some hideous looking freak instead letting the girl do things from her talent. Maybe it is time for the music industry to get a wake up call because of this stunt and stop listening to her music until they clean up their act or hers? Fed up in Virginia..
