The CW network's 'The Beautiful Life' has become the first television series from the new fall crop to be canceled, after just two episodes of the drama aired.The show made the news in July when production was halted to accommodate its star Mischa Barton, who was hospitalized for an undisclosed medical problem. Many surmised that Barton had suffered a breakdown. The free publicity was no help to 'The Beautiful Life,' which pulled in a mere 1.5 million viewers with its premiere episode. The ratings for the second episode were even lower.

The CW needs to get back to its WB roots, Smallville is the best show they have and the reboot of 90210 and melrose place is its attempt to grasp at straws. they need to get that teeny bopper girl drama bs out of there and bring in the superhero origin stuff, they filmed a pilot for an aquaman spin off of smallville with justn harley and ving rames and deciced it wasnt worth the trouble but picked up the beautiful life? did they really think that aquaman couldnt go more than 2 episodes? they cw needs to do more guy focused programing, smallville and supernatural are their highest rated shows and are very guy focused even reaper was a step in the right direction so i beg the cw drop the 15 year old girly crap and shows they grasp at the twilight coattails please!!!

Aquaman was a plot for 2006-07 season it wasn't a plot this year. I'm guy that likes Gossip Girl, 90210, Melrose Place etc I like the teen drama I have other shows that I like Smallville, Supernatural, The Mentalist, Hereos etc.
Enjoy watching: Weeds, Breaking Bad, Jay Leno Show, The Beast, Leverage, Damages, The Wire, The Shield, Wonderfalls. Descovery Channel: Wings series, Shark week and Deadliest Catch. NatGeo's: Generals at War, Apocalypse:WW2, and Air Crash Investigations. History Channels: Dogfights, and Shootout asia at war. ESPN: MLB, NFL, NBA.
Used to watch: Heroes, Conan O'Brian, NCIS, Dexter, BSG, Burn Notice.
Avoid: Brothers and Sisters, ALL Jerry Bruckheimer shows like all the CSI's and Lie to me, Las Vegas, Friday Night Lights, The OC, 90210, Psyche, Bones, Cold Case, Crossing Jordan, David Letterman, Jimmy Fallon, All the so called reality TV shows, Knight Rider, Sons of Anarchy, Glee, there's more I just did not care to know the titles.
