Khloe Kardashian, Lamar Odom Wed

After a whirlwind romance (and only knowing each other for a month), reality starlet Khloe Kardashian and L.A. Laker Lamar Odom married on Sunday afternoon, in front of friends and family, OK Magazine confirms.

The couple tied the knot at the house of music mogul Irving Azoff in a ceremony that included the release of hundreds of balloons into the sky.

Khloe's stepdad Bruce Jenner escorted her down the aisle. The 'Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami' star wore a dress designed by Vera Wang as did her bridesmaids, who included sisters Kim, Kourtney, Kendell and Kylie Jenner as well as friends Lauren London, Khadijah and Malika Haqq.

On the other side of the aisle, Odom had seven groomsmen stand up for him at the altar.

Guests at the black-tie affair included Ryan Seacrest, Kelly Osbourne, Kobe Bryant and his wife Vanessa, Chelsea Handler, Lara Spencer, Brittny Gastineau and Lala Vazquez, PEOPLE reports.

PEOPLE has more details of the lavish ceremony, which was decorated entirely in white flowers. After the nuptials, guests partied at a nightclub theme reception and ate a four-course dinner. The menu offered chilled heirloom tomato soup, a melon and fig salad, salmon or filet mignon and dessert.

I agree. There should be a law against the release of balloons. Several organizations release balloons in honor of victims and/or survivors through out the year without ever thinking about where those balloons end up. I believe that if the dangerous nature of free flying balloons were brought to everyones attention, many would stop releasing them. Others might have to be subject to fines and penalties.

What a waste of money. 7 bridesmaids and a four course dinner. A wedding dress that costs how much? OMG....some people waste money on a marriage that the two people knew each other for less than a month and the kids didn't even come. Some people just arent' that bright. I hope someone signed a prenup because I see money as a motive here.

ALL the Kardashian girls are all about money! It does not surprise me that she married so fast and to whom she choose. They are useless people in our society and the sad thing is they are not the exception. The marriage won't last, he will never be faithful and she is so self-absorbed that they will both just site irreconsiable differences but they want to be friends and oh yes they are spliting his money in half.

I agree. That was the first thing I said, pre-nupe. It's funny, a "friend" just happened to introduce her to him right before he signed his new Lakers contract (hum). The other thing is he has a hard enough time concentrating during the basketball season. With party girl as a wife, wow, I think it will be very hard for him to be a really good player as he is. This is not how marriage is supposed to be. I hope young people certainly do not think so.

I agree, a ridiculous waste of money. Meanwhile, my friends and myself are doing DIY weddings because we can't afford anything else - I've helped to take one friend's wedding pictures, I baked cakes for another friend's wedding, and I'm going to bake cupcakes for my own wedding because it's cheaper than buying a cake. I've had other friends baking their own cake, or not renting jackets for the groomsmen because it was another expense.

A ridiculous amount of money spent on a wedding when the marriage is doubtless going to fail in a few months. Must be pretty nice to be obscenely rich.

I read that the E tv network paid the bill for the 1 million dollar wedding as it is part of a reality show. Big surprise there.

Listen, if you need or want money, please go out there and work for it. Don't sit back and expect people who have money to just hand it over to you and people like you. Khloe's father was an attorney. He went to college and then worked very, very hard to make alot of money. And he sure didn't do it for people like you. And Khloe doesn't sit around doing nothing either. She works hard too. Yes, she might be more fortunate than others out there but there are others out there that did not come from money, like my husband. His mother and father were drug addicts. They were never there for him. Every dollar he ever got in his life, he worked for. He payed his way through college and worked at the same time. HE HAD NO HELP!!! And now we enjoy our own business and make alot of money. WE DID IT ON OUR OWN!! So, it makes me angry that people like you have this SENSE OF ENTITLEMENT and that people owe you something in life. PLEASE! And don't hate on Khloe because she spent her own money on her own wedding. REALLY!

Why on earth should people with money should just hand it over to other people, I am quite certain that this family make charitable contribution to worthy causes plus hefty taxes. Your comments suggest that you are jealous of people with money. Be content with what you have more than likely you have more blessings than most people with money, It's no one business in how this young woman and her new husband celebrated their wedding as per the cost, it's not your money she is using so none of your business if you were in her position you would be doing the same. I met my husband 3 weeks before we married. It was love at first sight for both of us.
I was 21, and he was 29.
Our marriage lasted 42 years.He died after a long battle with kidney disease, and now I wonder hoe will I ever spend the rest of my life without my partner, my lover, my dearest friend and the only man I would choose all over again to be the father of my children.We were blessed with 5 sons.
When I looked in his eyes that first night, I saw my children's eyes.
He was a wonderful man, and we lived thu richer AND poorer, in sickness and in health.
I hope she and her new husband share the joy we did. God bless her happy marriage!

This people who has negative comments here are such a swallow minded... When my hubby and I got married we spent our money wisely but if I have millions like Lamar or Khloe I will do the same too but not my hubby coz he is my opposite... But he was the one who spent for our wedding... I was just lucky! :)
