Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy Wed

Actors Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy were married in a quiet ceremony in France a few weeks ago, a source who attended the wedding tells PEOPLE. Danes, 30, and Dancy, 34, met while filming the movie 'Evening' in Newport, RI. The couple announced the engagement in February.

In April, Danes' friend and costar Mamie Gummer told PEOPLE that Dancy and Danes have a low-key relationship, full of on-set Scrabble games. She said, "I was there when it was happening and it's something that I will never forget. I'm incredibly happy for them. They are perfect for each other."

Calls to Dane's rep were not returned, though Dancy's camp responded, "We don't comment on the private lives of our clients."
