Taylor Swift seems to have bounced back from her encounter with Kanye at the MVMAs, here she heats up the room in a silk cherry red cocktail dress. With a touch of make-up and simple accessories, she is stiff competition for Beyonce.

We're not sure who told Jennifer Hudson to wear this but it is perhaps the biggest fashion mistake she has ever made. She looks packed into that metallic dress like a big old kielbasa and the slicked back hair just adds to the illusion.

Paula Abdul looks vaguely sane in this curve-hugging number, and that's saying a lot. The oft-insane former Idol judge pairs tamed locks with a simple and classic style. The pops of red put this dress a step ahead.

For once, Whitney Port is right on the money. The reality star looks effortlessly beautiful in this Indian-inspired dress with beaded detail off the shoulder. We don't laugh the prom shoes but you can't have everything, especially where this girl is concerned.
