'Celebrity Rehab' Star Busted for DUI

Tawny Kitaen, best known for her turn on 'Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew' and as the star of several Whitesnake videos, has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, TMZ.com reports.

Police took the actress into custody at 3PM on Saturday, after they stopped her in her Range Rover in Newport Beach.

She has since been released on $2,500 bail.

So sad to know another person is in the ravages of alcohol. Stats say only 10% of alcoholics get sober and stay sober after rehab. That's not good odds, is it? What's really sad is over 50% of alcoholics never seek help and live in denial (often with the help of family enablers). These are the ones I'm afraid to meet on our nation's highways. A closet drunk can kill you. People think alcohol is a nice way to get a "buzz," party with friends, enhance sex, but the truth is alcohol is an extreme depressant that's highly addictive. Beware of the devil in the bottle!!
