With the recent news of Emmy Rossum's divorce, sources say that it left the young actress free to enjoy her new relationship with Counting Crows' frontman Adam Duritz -- but she's not the first beautiful woman to cross paths with the singer.
Like John Mayer, Duritz allegedly has a long track record with lovely ladies. (And they even have one in common -- Jennifer Aniston!)
'Phantom of the Opera' star Emmy Rossum is reportedly dating Counting Crow's singer Adam Duritz (right). But she's not the first beautiful woman the alternative rocker has dated. Click Through to See Who Else
Women only "start to look for more in men" when it comes time to make a living. Once high school and college are done with and it's time to actually start supporting yourself, women suddenly stop caring about looks and want to find a man with a "nice personality" (which is a code word for "successful"). Even women who are rich and famous in their own right want an insurance plan. Wonder why that is? Maybe it's because they are "deep" (as opposed to us "shallow" men), and can see past overt, unclean, gut-turning wretchedness?... Or maybe it's because they are gold diggers, obsessed with social status, full of envy, and driven by an inherent need to one-up other women? Hmmm...
Natalie, at least your honest. Very refreshing. When women say personality or intelligence or 'a guy that makes me laugh' is what matters, they mean if he's also attractive, and you just confirmed this. The whole 'we can be friends' thing, however, is worse than rejection. Guys dont wanna be just friends with women, that's what our 'boys' are for. The only exception to that universal rule, is that a guy will hang as friends if your hot and being seen in public with you will attract OTHER women too him. Or if your friends with benefits. ;)
with all pressure 'society' puts on people for looks, etc., i am so aware and so pleased that we can look good and excerise our brains with knowing that after al thelooks go... we stil have to deal with who a person is. the one fault I have learned is that alot of lovely ladies don't get asked out they usually spend alot of time with friends. In Middle-School and High-School, I was extremely cute, had a rockin body, was cool, funny, popular and well-connected.I also played drums and guitar and wrote for the school journals/Newspapers etc. Needless to say, I got any girl I wanted, without trying.I felt bad for the kids that had a much more hopelessly lost, depressing existance. As I got older, I found that roles seemed to reverse. The cool kids ended up being losers and the losers were successful happy adults. Does anyone else notice this poetic-justice role-reversal?I have my theory but I'm interested in what the rest of you think. Do you agree, and how would you explain this curious phenomenon?
Wasn't there an article awhile back interviewing him saying he was a famous but lonely 40 year oid. He was talking about how he is famous but sits at home all the time..?? I hate his hair..
I have loved Counting Crows music for many years - Adam is an extremely talented, and in my opinion, attractive soul. I would be more concerned about his penchant for substance abuse than his looks or personality. But sadly that seems to be the norm for talented people..............
Ok last comment on the psychology of attraction, which, after all, is really just a bio-chemical reaction based on myohistal compatability(I.E. Genetic diversity and reproductive fitness)and Adam Duritz. I promise. His Dreads are fake! A wig. The little respect I had for his talent dwindled to roughly zero when I found out his signature locks were removable. That's even worse than bottle blondes and silicone she-devils. "Be yourself, by yourself, stay away from me/A lesson learned in life/known since the dawn of time.(message by me,lyrics by Pantera)
This article seems to think that he is some kind of homely ugly person. To me, he looks completely normal and why wouldn't a pretty lady want to go out with him. He might actually have some personality and intelligence and charm, unlike some posters (Danny) on this blog.
I have lusted after Adam Duritz since the seventh grade. You just have to listen to the man's lyrics and singing and you'll instantly fall in love. He's a beautiful poet, a smart cute guy!!
What a silly mommy! Katie Holmes takes Suri into the water in her clothes as the two spend the afternoon at the beach in Miami. More of Today's Hottest Photos
