EXCELLENT COMMENT MICHELLE AND RIGHT ON THE MONEY. YOU NAILED IT. JON GOSSELIN IS THE BIGGEST LOSER I HAVE EVER KNOWN, AND TO THINK HE WILL GET AWAY WITH THIS IS RIDICULOUS. HOW COULD HE POSSIBLY HAVE ANY RIGHTS AFTER THE WAY HE HAS ACTED. HIS KIDS? PLEASE? HIS MONEY IS ALL HE IS CONCERNED ABOUT TO BE ABLE TO KEEP UP WITH HIS GIRLFRIENDS COKE HABIT. ANY SELF-RESPECTING JUDGE SHOULD THROW HIM OUT OF COURT FOR ANY ACTIONS OTHER THAN VISITATION AND CHILD SUPPORT. I've watched the show from the beginning. He was very good at making snide remarks toward Kate. Always under the guise of "fun". At least Kate was up front about her short commings.

Jon wanted off the show, he was done - he said so on their own show. Now he gets his wish.

If his focus had been his children's well being, then it would not have been about HIS needs to quit the show, HIS lost years due to becoming a dad "so young".... blah blah blah.

Unless something has changed,(except from the show) he is unemployed - He can't pay any child support. So Kate has to - and writing books, doing interviews, etc is a career that many men and women do.

I'm witgh you. Jon has proven he is only in this law suit for money..and so is the lawyer. Now I suppose Kate will have to hire one also...that's more of the kid's money down the drain. I simply love watching those delightful kids. I think Kate is mostly responsible for how well behaved and loving these sweet little eight are. My sympathies are with her and the pain she must be feeling. Once more someone (Jon) has proven just how low some people are willing to fall.

I watched Larry King last night where Jon said that Haley Glassmen has been his rock and that he loved the Glassmen family. How sad that he would announce that to the world and to his 8 children. If he gets his way and the show is cancelled, he better find a good job. And by the way, he didn't quit his job to take care of the children. HE WAS FIRED FROM HIS JOB FOR BEING SUCH A FLAKE! I can only hope that the courts in Pennslyvania are like anywhere else and that he ends up broke and desstitute with Haley right there by his side living in a van down by the river.

The show has been good for mom of twins & triples etc... My niece is in her early 20's and watches the show. She has twin boys. She said it helps to know that she is doing the best that she can. It is hard not to be able to give each child the extra attention that they need. It helps her to know she is not alone. Jon you wanted this. It is not like you have sex and it happened. You paid to make this happen. Kate did not become a control freak overnight. She has been that way from day one. Stop blaming!!! Be a man... Grow Up!!!

Do you folks think for your selves or are you so manipulated by the media that has villianized Jon as soons as he was not their patsy or playing the role of a neutered, milquetoast, whipping boy for the show? Kate is made to come across as the leader of the family, with Jon only there for Kate to insult, belittle, & rant at. While Kate was out with her bodyguard stretching out her 15 minutes of fame, Jon was the one at home with the kids. The program totally skews the reality of what goes on in their lives, twists everything & programs your emotions. To fully understand what I am saying, take a look at the Gosselin family with your own eyes & experience with your own families. If Kate was still working as a nurse & Jon in his supposed I.T. job, & had never been exposed to the public's eye through TLC & other media outlets, would you be so venomous toward Jon? He has been publicly whipped & flayed, while Kate has been made into a martyr, boohoohooing about a couple hundred thousand dollars while never mentioning the millions of dollars she has squandered away. Don't fall for the media's direction of your feelings & assumptions. Jon is more than the womanizing lout the media projects & Kate is far from the faultless, virginal "mother of the year." While some may enjoy watching the Gosselin's dirty laundry being put before the scrutinizing public, I find it a shame & troublesome because your lives, with some very unbecoming personal/family problems are not up for public consumption. The Gosselins are not allowed any privacy & those poor kids had lived a literal "Truman Show" life & Kate is still trying to manipulate them to cash in on their sorrow & confusion. Enough is enough! Those kids deserve to know a normal life where their bad moods & outbursts are not analyzed & picked apart by people who do not personally know them, nor truly care for them. Jon & Kate need to regroup, rethink, & refocus on what is most important in their lives & in the lives of their children. I hope that the kids can find peace & reassurrance from their parents, put all of their attention into being kids & not worrying if a faux pas or silly moment will be approved of by the "viewers." Here's hoping that Jon can find solitude in himself instead of looking for it in another woman & Kate learns that those kids need more than a part-time Mommy, who will love & appreciate them even if they're not living in a mansion, eating organic - gourmet meals, & wearing designer named clothing. I send love & peace to the "8."

Jon didn't get to stand in a court room with his little 20 something girlfriend and get his fifteen minutes. For this to be a shy, backward, passive man, he is always the one who is in front of some camera flapping his gums. If he hadn't gotten some money off his kids, no 20 something girls would give him the time of day and he would still be living with this so called overbearing wife he lived with for ten years before. This guy is a creep pure and simple and what is most sickening, no matter what he thinks of Kate, she is the mother of his children and someday they will have to look at what he has said and done. He had no work ethic before they had those kids which was irresponsible out of both of them. And he has none now, He is leaching off someone else. Some Judge should order him to grow up, get a job, and pay for the kids he brought into this world, like any other man has too.

Jon will get the money as long as he is the father of the children. Wake up, it truly does not matter. Kate cannot pimp the children without the consent of the father. And both have done wrong. Kates is on tape hitting her husband. If Jon hit her, they would lock him up under the jail.

Didnt you watch show. Jon wanted the show to end in the beggining of the third and fourth. He said that is bringing to much negativity for their family. She convinced to continue with the show.He treated jon terrible on the show. He was always very respecful to her always he never put her down like she did him. So watch the begining episodes of the show.She is a very manipulated person,She treated the camera man better than she treated her husband.

You said it Lisa! Absolutely dead on. He is being cut out from the money/show and now he is attempting to make sure Kate and the kids get none as well. I am also sick of hearing how the show is bad for the kids. If you were like me, you filmed alot of their lives growing up--this is no different. They parents would be divorcing on or off screen. They say that 98% of their lives on not on television, leaving them plenty of time to do what they do. The kids will be set financially for college (as both Jon and Kate have said they put away money for from the show) and the kids are exposed to trips/things they otherwise would not have an opportunity to do if they weren't on the show. Get a grip people. The show is not hurting the kids--their good for nothing Father's behavior is!
