Madonna Would 'Rather Get Run Over By A Train' Than Remarry

Madonna sat down with David Letterman on 'The Late Show' for the singer's eighth time Wednesday night, after being carried into the studio by the New York Rangers.

The two discussed her eight-year marriage to Guy Ritchie and when Letterman asks her if she'll ever marry again, she replied "I think I'd rather get run over by a train."

They also talked about her previous appearances, and Madonna admitted to smoking pot before one of them. Watch

"It wasn't because I was excited about you," she explained about her odd behavior years ago. "I think it had something to do with the joint I smoked before I came on."

"But I didn't inhale so it doesn't count really," she added quickly.

"It's just the taste your interested in," Letterman responded.

The late night host also asked her about her relationship with Alex Rodriguez.

"Didn't you almost get arrested for bringing up A-Rod's name?" Madonna quipped, referring to Letterman's joke about Sarah Palin's daughter the upset that former vice-presidential candidate.

Bill and the other haters...on the contrary...i have pretty high standards...i happen to like strong,powerful,independent women who know what they want in life and go out and get it...even if many don't approve of her methods...Madonna's success speaks for itself...and it really doesn't matter how many HATERS she has...as her concerts sell out every place she plays world wide so she must have a couple of fans out there....a couple billion...LMAO
