Sometimes it's hard being Michael Bublé. When PopEater recently caught up with the retro pop-jazz singer, he was at a Vanity Fair photo shoot, trying to avoid the photographers and stylists that were buzzing around. "You know what? I'd rather be going to the dentist than getting my photos done," he says. "It's a huge privilege to be part of a great magazine, but does anyone like getting their photos taken?"
The morning's hoopla is all part of the launch for Bublé's fourth album, 'Crazy Love.' The affable 34-year-old might be cringing, but he's gracefully taking everything in stride, especially as he recalls the time a critic dubbed him "The One Record Wonder." "In quotations, actually," he scoffs when talking about the remark, which was made before he'd had a chance to prove himself beyond his successful 2003 debut. Clearly, the critic's words stung. "Oh my god, yes, of course," he says. "When I made that first record, people said, 'Yeah, yeah. He fluked out. He did it at a perfect time.' Then the next record came out and they said, 'OK, not bad.' The third record was the one I was nervous for because people kept saying that you get lucky on the first and you can use that momentum to get to the second. By the third, the thrill is gone. When I had success with that, it gave me a lot of confidence."
So, if the third record was the one he used to prove himself, then what motivated him for 'Crazy Love'? "Actually," Bublé quickly interrupts, "They're all prove-yourself discs. It never ends."

I absolutely agree. The minute I heard this song today, I thought it might have been WRITTEN by Sara Bareilles. The basic rhythm and recurrent chords are a direct ripoff of Sara Bareilles' "Love Song". He is a real creep for doing that.
That was the single most cheesy video I've ever seen. I like Michale Buble just fine when he's doing the whole lounge lizard thing: Frank Sinatra and Harry Connick-ish...but not this freaken drivel. Cant any of these people ever be original?
I love it... He is an amazing artist that takes me to a time when music had more class... I will admit the grocery store theme is a bit cheesy, but love the song.
If you don't like him, why are you reading this article? I love Michael and found I loved all of the old greats once I started listening to him. He doesn't claim to be greater than them. He has a great voice and a love for the oldies and is also working on some more modern music. Don't listen if you don't like him!
