what happen to getting married and THEN having a child that you can give your name to?
This has gotten way too exceptable
Gee... it's not okay for gays to marry, but it is ok for some rich geezer to marry a girl half his age. It's so disgusting!

It never ceases to amaze me that these stars always meet and date/marry waitresses. I guess that's one of the best gigs going if you're a young woman, fairly attractive, and can meet men like Noth, Damon, George Clooney, etc., etc.

It never ceases to amaze me just how much classism still exists in the the "land of the free and equal". Waiting tables is a job. It doesn't define who an individual is. Why shouldn't these actors date "waitresses"? We've all seen what happens when they date and marry someone else "in the business". Heck, let them date whoever they want.
So Chris Noth is marrying a women old enough to be his daughter, who is the same age now that Noth was when she was first born. He will be a senior citizen when she hits middle age. Then he'll look old enought to look like her grandfather Ick factor here 100%.

Nothing like a 27 year old to get past an old Jimmy Chu wearing hag with nosy friends! He's definitely gonna have some Sex in the City now

54-27, met in a bar where she was working.....that will work for about an hour.
While I can appreciate men want someone of child bearing age....this is stupid and he should know better.

Did u know that they have been dating for 5 years. So much for the person that said they will last one hour. They also have a child together. Chris is a very loyal person who doesn't run around woman to woman. I think you have him confused with Mr. Big..
i am so sorry for kate, says she would sell hamburgers if she had to. well she is a nurse, so she could work. also what did they do with the money they got for the last five years? at 75k an episode, it is a big chunk of change. no says she has to live in a mansion on an estate. i dont feel sorry for. many people live with large families on small salaries. so get real girl. and shut up.

Geesh..........I think that when you have 8 kids and need that many bedrooms, any house will look like a mansion. I don't think she actually lives in what most people would consider a mansion, she has a large house but it's not chuck full of sweeping staircases, marble entry foyer, wine cellar, media room, etc... Why shouldn't she be allowed to make a decent living and keep what she already worked for? Jon chose to cheat, he now cleared out their bank account - money needed to pay for living expenses for Kate and his 8 kids. Plus - he chose to rent out a $3000. a month bachelor pad - talk about selfish!
i guess if noth is going to get married he might as well get a young one

I wish AOL would use larger print in their articles. When I first read the name of their kid, I thought it was "Onion", not "Orion".
'Course, with the idiotic names that celebrity offspring are handed nowadays, I may not be far wrong.

WHO CARES???

Yes, GingerRoot, they can certainly date and marry whomever they want and waitresses can date whomever they want. It just seems so common place and so cliche when you read about this. You can't deny that!

If Cher, Madonna and Linda Hogan get be with men less then half their age ... why shouldn't men do the same thing? Also, just because some women are too greedy or selfish to "marry down" economically, what gives them the right to bash men who don't put a dollar sign on love?

Congrats Chris.
Also, Law and Order is not the same without you.
