Imus in the Morning - Controversial talk radio shock jock Don Imus hit the airwaves with a new radio/TV show today. The new 'Imus in the Morning' debuted at 6 a.m. Eastern on Fox radio affiliates and the Fox News TV channel. It's a big jump for the popular radio personality, whose TV simulcast rights were owned by the tiny Omaha-based satellite channel RFD-TV ever since his 2007 outburst on the Rutgers female basketball team. How soon we learn to forgive and forget. Welcome back to the big time, old man.

Matthew Knowles Scandal - Looks like Beyonce and Solange Knowles' daddy might be a daddy yet again. A six-months-pregnant L.A. woman filed a paternity suit against Matthew Knowles last week. Wouldn't really be big news if the guy didn't seem like the perfect father to his star daughters and the perfect husband to wife and business partner Tina Knowles. This isn't the first time paternity rumors have swirled around the Knowles patriarch. Earlier this year, New York radio rabblerousers suggested he's Kelly Rowland's daddy, too. Maybe it's just his destiny to have lots of children (meh).

David Alan Grier - DAG's new autobiographical 'Barack Like Me: The Chocolate-Covered Truth' is out and the 'In Living Color' vet is stumping it across the land. He'll appear on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' tonight to tout the book that Chris Rock says "will surely become a great TV movie someday." The NYT isn't so kind, calling Grier is "a potty-mouthed windbag."

Ashley Jewell Death - Ashley "A.J." Jewell, former fiance of 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star and songwriter Kandi Burruss died on Saturday after getting into a fight outside his Atlanta strip club. Fans are flocking to the net to gather details on the late night tragedy. Few have emerged, though one Frederick Richardson is reportedly being charged with involuntary manslaughter. Jewell had appeared on several episodes of the Bravo show, especially during the latest season when he and Kandi tried unsuccessfully to combine their families. In a statement released to E! News, Kandi said, "A.J. hated and was uncomfortable with being on camera. Off camera, A.J. was very charismatic and a friend to many. He believed in God and always genuinely tried to do the right thing."

Kate Gosselin Today Show - Did anyone actually ever watch 'Jon and Kate Plus 8' or do ya'll just Google the crap out of them? There's certainly a lot of the latter going on. Today you want to know what went down when Kate showed up on 'The Today Show.' Apparently Jon has emptied $200K from the couple's joint account, leaving mom without enough money to pay the bills. "Whenever we have a conversation and 'solve' things, he hangs up the phone and does something different. I simply cannot reach him," Kate told Meredith Vieira. The war of words continues. You can be sure you haven't heard the last out of them.

Miguel Cabrera - OK, we know you don't come here for sports news. But Miggy's a star, a celebrity really, and he's gotten himself into a juicy mess that's rapidly making its way up the Google-meter. The baseball player showed up scratched and scabbed at the ballpark on Saturday for one of the most important games of the season. His team lost, and Cabrera told the press his dog was to blame for his wounds. But yesterday the truth came out. Turns out Detroit police were called to his house at 6 a.m. on Saturday to break up a fight between him and his wife. The million-dollar ballplayer registered a .26 BAC (a person is drunk at .08) and he was hauled away to the police station. Now his team is floundering and he's stuck in the biggest slump of the season. We'll be watching to see if he can bust out of his slump when the Tigers meet the Twins in a one-game playoff on Tuesday night.
