You need to learn that is serious and can happen to you or someone you care about. Imagine having a specific amount and your ex goes in and takes it all without your consent? And your children are suffering because of it? Her kids are already affected by the arguments and such. So I rather see Kate do it on her own and leave is trashy behind alone. He is the one going on TV sleeping with random women defying his devotion for them ignoring his children's attentive needs. So learn to look at the whole picture about who is neglecting the children before making a statement as ignorant as yours.

Jon needs to let Kate get on with her life as he has his, do the show with the kids and earn the money it takes to raise a family of 8 and just stop all the crap.Everyone is tired of it and we all see through his little game of wanting to get back with Kate for the sake of the kids, not buying it...

I find it ironic that Kate would go to the media whining and complaining stating that she wanted to keep things private but then accuse Jon of doing the same thing. She should just state that her motive is the same as Jon's which is money. She stated that she knew that Jon's name would be removed from the title and was in agreement. If that is not sneaky and coniving I don't know what is. Did she really expect Jon to just let her take over the show and not be included, because I know I woudn't. They are his kids too. Even though I think that Jon wants the kids off the show just for spiteful reasons, I do agree that they just need to get rid of the cameras and work on their issues without the press. I think Kate now knows that she can't have the limelight w/o having Jon involved. Also, what about all these books and book tours that Kate has going on. I find it hard to believe that she doesn't have a side account that Jon doesn't know about, or maybe he does and that is why he took the money.

I have said this all along. Anyone having anything to do with this TV show from the beginning and now in this ugly and tormenting situation should be arrested for "child abuse" !!!! How dare America sit back and watch this happen to these children and call this entertainment, and then believe we are civilized.

This is really in response to Jstreebear: Are you serious that Kate has her priorities in order? All you have to do is listen to her in an interview and the inconsistencies glare out at you. In one instance, she's telling us that she barely has enough to make ends meet. In the next, she's saying that she wants to buy an 8-diamond encrusted band to replace her wedding band. Really? THAT is a woman with her priorities in order? Come on! Listen to her. I mean ... REALLY listen to what she's saying. Plus, who was the first one who took money out of the account (by her own admission .. if she admits it was $100,000, it was probably more) ... and then she said she put it back. How do I know that he really took money out of the account? Because SHE said so? How do I know he won't put it back, just like SHE did?

When I think of all the parents and single mothers in this country struggling to pay their bills and feed their children- she goes on a morning show and whines about the $250,000 she has in her checking account to pay her bills?? What is this TV world coming to? That show is the lowest form of entertainment.

I could not agree more. what are they doing with that kind of money in a checking account anyway? At least $150,000 of that should have been in an education fund for the kids? They are acting so stupid and I'm sick of jon & kate.

Your are so right! Kate even stated on the interview that her kids were mad because of the show being temporarily halted. It appears to me that they can not function, or do not know how to function in a normal life. SO, how do you think this will affect them as they get older? HMMMM?

I agree with what you said, but allow me to put out my opinions. Obviously there is a signifigant amount of blame on each sides, but I am on Team Kate for this one. Her husband is an exellent example of a playboy, jerk, failed father, husband and professional actor. Can't he see what he is doing to his family? Sure people, Kate may have been a selfish pain in the butt on the show, but they were MARRIED! When people take their vows, they are making a contract to be together for their entire lives, for better or for worse. You don't say, "My wife/husband is a terrible person and suckish mother/father. Oh well, who wants to go to bed?" Kate is a tough cookie, and her work ethic is probably what got her posession of the kids, but what's up with Jon? He is not only cheating on his wife and giving his kids a hellish childhood, but now he drains the bank, leaving his wife with $1,000, to pay for his mistress(s)'s jewelry? Sorry folks, but no matter how loud your spouse screams, you just don't do that.
To make it fair, Kate was a jerk, and even in this interview you can tell you wouldn't want to get on her bad side. Jon may have had his reasons, but I think more people would respect him if he could respect himself, and his undying responsibilities to his soon to be ex-wife and children. And one of those is giving the money back...

i agree with u there...it gets old and the poor kids.. but if money is relly that tight..maybe she needs to stop the plastic surgery..the trainer.. the trips.. the blame is a clear 50-50..yet ya cant help but read whst those idiots have done this week..the kids r probabaly not geting the right guidance from either parent..i will take my wonferful 3 kids.. my modest middle class mid west up ringing and proudly take my 30 yr marriage with real problems and work them out at home with dignity and remain happy as a clam...these people hve some serious issues..
