Lady Gaga's wild, fashion-centric lifestyle never ends -- even when she's off stage. In the latest issue of Interview Magazine, the 'Paparazzi' singer let them follow her, proving that her life offstage was just as "wildly insane as her life on stage." Gaga took on Japan and managed to get inked twice before preparing for the magazine's S&M photo shoot. See her new ink >>
The meaning behind her inner arm tattoo: "That one commemorates my favorite writer, Rainer Maria Rilke, a poet and romantic philosopher. In German he writes, 'Confess to yourself in the deepest hour of the night whether you would have to die if you were forbidden to write. Dig deep into your heart, where the answer spreads its roots in your being, and ask yourself solemnly, Must I write?'"
The meaning behind the "Tokyo love tattoo" on her shoulder:
"That was to celebrate the Haus's collaboration with legendary Japanese photographer Araki. I was bound by Araki's personal bondage artist, by several ropes and Japanese knots... Araki photographed me, using a series of several cameras. He did not photograph my image; he photographed my soul. We spent the night with Araki and his friends at a members' only bar he's owned for more than 20 years, where he displays his work. Here, he painted me and took Polaroids through the night. I was honored to be the first American woman he's photographed, and only the second pop artist, in the company of Björk. He signed the Polaroids "Tokyo Love," and the Haus got tattoos of his marking in celebration."
Her feelings on 'The Fame' exploding in popularity during 2009:
"It's been a life-changing year for me creatively as a musician and a performance artist. I walk away from the Fame Ball humbled by my little monsters-my fans-and proud of the Haus for all its successes amidst the adversity of the industry. We killed it."
How she feels about her fans:
"I love my little monsters. Now I live and create only for them."

I think some tattoos are classy it just depends on the size and location. I'm getting one of a hummingbird in memory of my father on my shoulder. Nothing too elaborate but something pretty and elegant
tat's are sexy. if they are tasteful. I don't agree with the ones that are all over and can not be hidden because there is a time for everything, but i don't agree. I have a few.
Hmmm...scrolling thru pics above. Thats one BIG THONG she has on under that blue dress. I think they should put a ban on the manufacturing of thongs over say the size of 4! After that, a sexy pair of bikinis is in order but not a thong. jmho
I am all for Lady Gagas weird and interesting style, but her wearing that shear blue outfit with a thong in front of children, c'mon. Gaga you're a role model, love the dare to be different, dare to be yourself style but that outfit was tasteless in front of children. I am not for sheltering, but they don't understand what makes your outfit ok or not, time that it can be worn or when its age "appropriate". Think again and get another outfit out of your closet next time.
A woman with tattoos looks like she has been working on cars in a garage and didn't bother to shower before going out in public. Nothing says skanky lady more than looking like a sixth grader who let the boys doodle on her during study hall.
I think it's ridiculous Natalie that you are asking Gaga to be a role model. Does everyone need to be a role model? No. Sometimes some people don't care if they are role models, that is not what their purpose is. If parents, teachers... can't show children appropriate role models, why should it be up to that person in the media? The media isn't meant for role models. I don't understand why people think that is still a valid statement.. "be a role model" Gaga is an artist. I don't understand why you'd even say that...

Its funny how pure social trash wants to look trashier.
There is nothing worse than a tattoo on a woman.

I find it funny that a so called singer gets more attention for her cloths or doing stuff like this.

If I were doing her tatt I'd mess it up on purpose. She sings well...but she looks like trash.
