Shyne and 'Regina Lasko Pictures' are surging in Google Trends? We can shed some light on the mystery. Google Trends provides the 40 hottest keywords of the hour, and though the results change frequently, at any given time the list offers a snapshot of what's on people's minds. Here are the hottest pop culture trending topics today...Regina Lasko Pictures, Holly Hester Pictures, Stephanie Birkitt Pictures - So you wanna see what the David Letterman's ladies look like? We don't really blame you as it's an infinitely interesting story and always tempting to see who zillionaire celebrities like to mix with. Well, now you see, and now you know. They're regular old gals just like you. Now if you could only get a job on the show.
David Letterman Apologizes to Wife - Speaking of Mr. Letterman, he delivered a lengthy apology to his wife Regina Lasko on his show last night. It was more thorough and fans say, more heartfelt than the one he gave last Thursday. "She has been horribly hurt by my behavior," he told his audience. "If you hurt a person and it's your responsibility, you try to fix it." The guy is wise, lovable... and a womanizer, but we accept his apology. We cannot help it. He's got us wrapped around his 'Late Night' pencil.
Reggie Jackson - Looks like you're searching for Mr. October himself -- the great wily legend Reggie Jackson. Back in the '70s, this guy's could hit 72 home runs in two innings. Reggie won five World Series and hit four home runs in the 1977 World Series on four consecutive pitches. Then, he went into robot mode in the original 'Naked Gun' movie and tried to assassinate the Queen. But you're looking him up because it was just announced that Jackson is going to be hosting a show on Sirius XM Radio for six weeks during the MLB playoffs. Things might get frisky. We might call in.
Shyne - It's a great day for Google Trends. Sure we never tire of Jon and Kate's divorce escapades, but come on, Shyne got out of jail! You might remember Jamal "Shyne" Barrow as the Diddy protege who took the fall for the 1999 J.Lo/Combs club shootout. Nobody knows exactly what went down that night, but Barrow caught the heat (and a multi-album recording contract.) Now he's free. And oh yeah, did you know he's the son of the Prime Minister of Belize? Just sayin'.
Nancy Grace Jon Gosselin - OK, OK. More 'Jon & Kate.' We get it. You can't help following the developing divorce drama. Jon appeared on last night's 'The Insider' and apparently he got his arse handed to him by Nancy Grace. "You've got your lawyer here, your'e afraid to answer questions, whatever," she snapped at him. "You talk the talk, but you don't walk the walk. You can't go out with one 22-year-old after the next while she's at home with the children and say you want to work it out. That's not working it out, Jon Gosselin." This real life celeb soap opera is never gonna end. Is it?
Layne Staley - Not sure why you're looking up the deceased former lead singer of Alice in Chains, but it might have something to do with the revamped band's new album 'Black Gives Way to Blue' or the lead single 'Check My Brain,' which debuted at No. 1 on the US Billboard rock charts. By now you've discovered that Staley died of an overdose in 2002. He was a talented guy with a voice made for grunge. His band is doing A-OK without him, but there's no doubt it wouldn't be where it is today if not for him.
