He's a jerk because he wants to see his kids on their birthday??? Are you nuts? I bet you'd be the first to post here calling him a deadbeat dad if the article were about him not showing up for his kids' birthday! He is their father and has a right and duty to be there for them regardless of what Kate demands.

I also think he needs to get a real job. He seems to be living off of everybody else. That house is NOT HIS. That house belongs to the kids. It's time he begins to support those kids, instead of having them support him.

I agree. Because he says words, don't make them true. He is a liar and a cheat. He doesn't stand a chance in court. I hope Kate is able to stop this 50.50 split of the home and custody. That is hurting her kids more than anything. If he was any kind of man, he would have never left to begin with. I have to say, there were times I didn't always love my husband the best, and same for him, but we stuck it out for our kids. And we are all better for it and we are in love in a way that lasts a life time and more because we endured the pain when it hurt, we didn't run. Jon is a loser.

Actually the children do NOT own the house. The deed belongs to both parents. Kate is really a monster to keep Jon away from his childrens'
birthday festivities. If Kate can't handle it let her leave. Jon has every right to be with them. Especially if it is his day to be.

I think people aren't being realistic here. Jon had a job that TLC made him quit for filmning..Let Kate go back to nursing and him back to IT analyst and stop the damn show. That's what doing more harm than good right now.

Not to mention that Jon has a paper trail of the money and they made 75K an episode over 2 million dollars. He didn't take it all. Kate is hiding it and a very bad liar.

It sure looks like Jon is showing his true nature. Passive/Agressive... very dangerous personality disorder. When aggravated, they go to selfish, irratic and irrational, hurtful, as well as harmful behaviour. Hard to have a lot of sympathy for such a person. PA's appear to always the victim, and let the other person take all of the hits and digs. I think they are the worst kind of vermin. Now we see that Jon really does always get what "he" wants. Kate, you just got a new fan. Poor you and kids having had to put up with this disgrace of a man.

I am soooo sick and tired of the Jon bashing that is going on. Obviously you have never seen an episode of Jon & Kate plus 8. If you did you would know why Jon wanted to get away from that nasty woman thay call Kate. I can only assume from your posts that you truely don't have a clue! I don't agree with the way Jon carried himself after KATE filed for divorce but, that was his choice. If you have been paying attention you would know that Jon only started the TV interviews after Kate did. H*ll I would have done the same if I were in his shoes. The poor man did not have a choice. She was out there bashing him on National Television! You could tell by the end of last season that Jon wanted nothing to do with the TLC show anymore. I have a feeling that this marriage ended due to the fact that Kate wanted to keep recording the show ($$$$$)and that Jon had had enough! Just remember there is 2 sides to a story. I never use to watch the show but my mother did and always talked about it. So i sat down to watch it one night and i was in shock as to how Kate talked down to her husband. I am not saying he didn't deserve some of it. But there is a thing called respect for one another. If i had some one treating me that way i would have left too. Kids come first and some times it is better to be apart from one another for the sake of the kids. Worse thing she can do as a mother is keep her kids from there father on important days. They may not say anything now, but down the road they will be like why did you do that mommy. Part of the problem today with couples is divorce is too easy. When you have kids you should try to work it out and not just take the easy road and file for divorce. He was wrong for some of his choices but so was she in the way she treated him on the show. If she only did that for ratings then that is sad. No money is worth a relationship especially when there is children involved.

I have watched all of the episodes and jon was right for leaving her he loves his kids she is a vicious women was he suppose to stay with someone that treated him so badly wow come on watch all the episodes then you'll see he is no angel but she is evil hey both love there kids and should really get to together for there kids not for love but for them children they did it to themselves jon always wanted to stop the show but kate is greedy and likes the money she is not thinking of her kids at this point stop filming was the right thing to do!!!!!!
