It is funny, what I see if KATE wanting everyone to feel sorry for her. Well, none of this is making any sense. If you look at Kate she always about the money. Everyone say Jon needs to get a real job. Well they both need to get a REAL JOB. And this thing Kate has about the ring. I have never, ever heard such a thing. Again, the fact that Kate can't take the ring off for the kids is a crock of sh------t. Again, it is someone who want others to feel sorry for her. How many of you weman out there can't bring yourself to take off your wedding ring when you know it is OVER????? By the way I am a woman and I am not buying any of Kates stories.

All his public yakking of his is going to hurt him in divorce court. He must not have a very good attorney. A good divorce atty. would tell him to STFU. That and his flaunting his many girlfriends, while he is technically still married, will not help his case. I cannot blame her for not wanting him back. He's another kid!

Jon proved that the bank withdrawal was a lie by Kate and he is starting to speak out more and more. I have a feeling Kate knows she is getting caught in lies and cannot face him directly. The fact that he has said Maddy calls him and tells him things shows that Maddy is not seeing things as Kate does. Kate, you need professional help. If Jon could go get counseling, so can you. Kudos Jon, you took enough abuse for how many years.

I am soooo glad these two are the only ones going trought a divorce. Don't think the world could handle divorces all the time!!!

So what is wrong with spliting the day, most divorced people do this. AND as far as the kids supporting him, umm then they are supporting Kate too. She is getting just as much, if not more money then he is. The bottom line is, its stupid! Get over with it and move on. It can't be good for the kids to have this drag out so long. lol...atleast we will always have some form of entertainment!

The guy got pushed out of the show and like a spoiled kid is now saying he wants to "protect" his kids by closing down the show. Pa-lease. This guy needs industrial strength therapy because he knows exactly what he's doing. I think both of them should get a real clear reality check and for the sake of those kids stop with this ridiculas media frenzy. Shame on the damn press and TV networks who USE people like the Jon and Kate's to feed their own bank accounts. My hope is that these kids can survive mom and dad's juvenile behavior and get out of this unscathed. J & K are not worth the paper their contract is written on. They strut around like A list celebrities. Come on ... I watched the show a few times, kids were adorable but I gotta say, I was actually bored. Who wants to watch someone making sandwiches and going on vacations. TLC should should live up to their call letters The LEARNING Channel ... so my question is ... what do we learn by watching this family every week?

*PATTY, you had me until you said Jon went to every media outlet to tell his story. While I'll give you that, you left out someone... KATE. She did the same thing.

With these two, it's like "tit for tat" OR "let's see who can up the ante this time around".

I don't happen to think that Jon did anything wrong once his WIFE FILED FOR THE DIVORCE. She made it very clear (she said it during one of HER interviews mind you) that there was NO chance for a reconciliation so IMHO, he had every right to go on with his life.

Does the money mean that much to him? You bet I believe it does but I also believe it means that much to Kate as well... again, "tit for tat"

Do I think he has an agenda to getting the show off the air? You better believe I do but Kate has an agenda too. She wants to keep it on the air for the $$ & Fame... Again, "tit for tat".

When I heard Kate say to the ladies of the View on Monday that the kids didn't understand why they couldn't go to NYC to see the Statue of Liberty (because it was part of the show which meant TLC was paying for that trip), when she blamed it on Jon, that's when my B.S meter went off. Here's the thought that went through my head. If she really wanted to take her kids to see it, if it really meant that much to the kids, then I'd like to know why Kate just didn't take them herself using her own money!!! In fact, it's the KIDS who have made 90% of that money so why couldn't they use some of THEIR money to go??

The thing with Kate is.. she "thinks" she's fooling everyone but she's not. She's not fooling me, she never has nor will she ever!!

TLC was the big winner in this mess. Ther put big money in their pockets and the kids lost two parents and got thrown into a nightmare.

OK, it seems like in the beginning Kate was normal and regular and then she became too into her looks and her celebrity and that became paramount to her. She became less likable and her shrewish personality became more evident.
She seems to have brought in more money also than John by appearances and books. But that took her away from the kids who used to be her main focus.
John always seemed like a stick in the mud. Wasn't he also fired from his IT job for "misappropriation of funds"? They needed the TLC show in the beginning to pay for a sudden addition of six kids to their family. In the beginning the kids were not negatively affected because they were too young and there wasn't all this drama. They should have done the show for a few years, banked what they could, lived conservativeely and then stopped when the kids were a few years old, certainly when their family unraveled. Then they could have done a couple of yearly update specials. Instead, the celebrity and money got to both of them. He realized that he was henpecked but where was the attempt at counseling? Yes she was shrewish but was there no positive in their marriage that he could focus on while trying to fix what was wrong? Not just go after the first immature celebrity hog that goes after him? They both need to stop living their lives in public. They are killing their kids by doing that. Their finances should not be a he said/she said on tv. The only way to resolve that conflict is in the courts. If she can't pay the bills because he took the money, give him the bills to pay. Ugggh. Those poor kids.

Jon's parents was divorced, it hurt him, the children is the ones to really suffer in a divorce case most of the time, like a family kind of home. Now I have seen a divorced parents where it was best for the kids. The parents did not get a long and he was mean to the mother, the kids seen and knew he was mean, and even tho the kids loved the dad, they was happier after the divorce. These kids will suffer, it takes both husband and wife to make a go, Jon did not think ahead, he though he could play around and it not hurt his kids. Now he wants to blame the show and the camera's. He says he was at fault, but he wants to put other things to blame for his own actions. He wants to fuss and he wants that house to be his. I will be glad to see him in court and maybe a judge will put jon in his place. Jon needs to get the kids and take them to his place ot some where else, he does not need to be there with Kate, he needs to think of her, he needs to think of some one besides himself, he wants a fuss, else he would try and understand Kate's feelings. The kids will later see all the pictures took of Jon and his lady friends and know the whole story of his play life.. It was Jon's actions, no one made Jon play the ropes as he did, he wants to be a lover boy, and he wants Kate to excuse his actions. I've been married 51 years, I never went though divorce, I've been blessed with a good man, he has been a good dad too. That money has helped Jon play as he has, and now Jon had best find a job, he has 8 kids to feed and the money they have will soon run out. That show was a job, work, and yet it can be fun, a job Kate and the kids enjoy. But Jon wants his name up there, he can't stand not having his way. Kate has never abused this man, Jon is not a man to take orders, Jon is a leader, not a fall behind to take orders.
