Revealed! Meredith Vieira's Naked News

With friends like Al Roker, who needs enemies...

In response to David Letterman's scandal over at CBS, NBC has revealed its own sexy past involving 'Today' show co-anchor Meredith Vieira. Jay Leno, the host of 'The Jay Leno Show', played a series of clips showing Vieira's early days in broadcasting. He ended with the most revealing -- a fully-exposed (photoshopped, of course) still of the female anchor on the 'Naked News,' leaving little to the imagination.

"Just one month!" Vieira exclaimed to co-hosts Al Roker and Ann Curry explaining the length of her "big break" in show business.

"Who was your mentor? David Letterman?" Roker joked, startling both Vieira and the normally unflappable Curry.

"Wow, I feel so liberated!" responded Vieira in response to the "truth" coming out.

Vieira, 55, co-hosts NBC's 'Today' show with Roker, Curry, Matt Lauer and Natalie Morales. She also won two Daytime Emmy Awards for hosting 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire' after starring previously on 'The View' and '60 Minutes.'

I can't stand Al Roker - thin or fat. He is such an arrogant jerk.

He said once that he can't stand the 'little people' outside the NBC studio shaking his hand and goes inside to wash hands afterwards. That comment offends me, I wouldn't want HIM touching MY hand!

And there was the time he was on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Anna Nicole Smith was the guest... you should have seen how RUDE he was to her!!! And then he went on and on about his classy kids... how they don't eat macaroni and cheese, but eat Chilean Sea Bass instead, and they play the violin... blah, blah, blah...

Why NBC keeps him is beyond my comprehension... he is an inelegant, blubber-lipped, clumsy oaf who always says the wrong thing and whose jokes fall flat. Seriously, there has got to be someone out there who can deliver the weather better than Al without being so hard to look at and annoying.

My first take on the still photo was that Meredith was wearing a naked suit. Then, I realized there is no such thing. But then yet again, it struck me that a naked suit would make for perfect Halloween garb for the uber-inhibited person! It would come in handy for streakers, too. I've seen crazier.
