Ugly Brinkley Divorce Gets Even Uglier

Despite their divorce being official for a year, things are far from amicable for supermodel Christie Brinkley and her ex-husband Peter Cook. The two were in court on Wednesday sparring over terms of their settlement, with each accusing the other of ill-doing involving the couple's children and asking that each other be jailed.

Cook and his attorneys claim that Brinkley is attempting to sabotage the father's relationship with his children. He claims that Brinkley refused to turn over son Jack's passport in a timely fashion, which caused him to miss a school trip to Israel that was supposed to be chaperoned by Cook.

"She is doing everything she can to ruin my relationship with my kids ... I am trying to move on with my life and I wish she would do the same," Cook told the New York Post.

Due to this and other violations that Cook is claiming, his legal team is
Brinkley's lawyer Peter Caronia calls Cook's claims "without merit and totally disingenuous," saying that Brinkley was late in handing the passport over because of the death of a friend's mother and Cook's refusal to pick it up himself.

Cook asked for Brinkley to be imprisoned and forced to take anger management classes, and also wants additional child visitation rights. Brinkley claims that Cook is in the wrong for talking about their case on talk shows and also letting his new girlfriend to spend time with their children. She also wants Cook jailed, and asked for reimbursement of legal fees and to be paid from the sale of the couple's old boat.

The divorce between Brinkley and Cook turned very ugly and very public when Cook's affair with a teenage store clerk became public.

The idiot actually expected to be able to take his son out of the country while custody is still be worked out???? That aside--he wanted to take his son out of the country but he couldn't be bothered to get his son a passport or make other travel arrangements to ensure the trip was all above board and legal-NO. He could not even bother to go or send his assistant or new (I'm guessing-barely legal) girlfriend to his son's house and demand it be given to him--again sadly No he waits until the trip is canceled and then says oh boohoo his mom would not give me his passport and then blames her and asks that she be jailed. And yeah that's great dude--first you choose to screw a 19 year old who's not that much older than your son--then you screw around and mess up your son's ability to go on a wonderful trip--then you ask for his mom to be thrown in jail--but somehow you think you have any credibility with your kids or that your wife is responsible for them thinking you are an idiot.

**The son was going on a school trip. This wasn't a father planned trip, but Cook was a chaperone.

The US Gov doesn't issue duplicate passports to each spouse ...one child, one passport. She had the passport. Better yet why didn't she give the passport to her son? 'cause he friends mom died? No 'cause she wanted to make sure her son couldn't go on the trip.

** Are you serious? She won't give the passport to the father, & makes her son miss the trip ...like she would give the passport to some stranger! get real!

**The trip wasn't canceled. The school trip took place, just without their son. The son missed out because Cristy still had the son's passport, that had nothing to do with the dad.

Next time try reading the paragraph before posting inaccurate comments about it that show your anger.

Yeah the guy was screwing around with a 19 year old and it is embarrassing for her, show the public that he is an ass, and hurt their family ...that doesn't mean he is always in the wrong.

She was being vindictive in this example, and she intentionally hurt her own son in an attempt to be vindictive.

Not that I care either way. But, everyone seems to forget Christy's history. She cheated on Billy Joel with Taubman, Remember the infamous helicopter crash, that brought it all to light. And, keep in mind she went on a ski vacation with her kids and Taubman. So her claims about Cook's girlfriend staying with him and the kids are hypocritical. Also, lets face it ANY person who gets married and divorced numerous times needs to look in the mirror... The common denominator is....... So quite possibly the problem is not the spouse, but, themselves.

It doesn't seem possible that the Christy we know and love could be that vindictive! Usually the truth falls somewhere BETWEEN what you read, and I'm guessing if a real problem exists it was caused by the lawyers--not Brinkley OR Cook!

Wow, listen to all this mumbo jumbo nonsense! No one knows exactly what happened do you? The truth is that that man seduced a 19 year old girl. What does that mean? Even if Christie did withhold sex, lets go and mess with a 19 year old girl. To me that looks like the work of a narcissistic, controlling weirdo. I would be scared if I were that girl. Peter Cook is a LOSER! Christy Brinkley should be a role model for EVERY woman in America. He cheated and instead of crying and defending what a good man he is and how its not his fault, she kicked his sorry behind in the ditch. Where he belongs! He was married to one of the most beautiful women in the world, yet he was STILL trying to sneak around behind her back and see what he could get away with! All this goes to show is that some men are Rotten to the core. Not all but some. Look at Peter Cook now. Wonder if he still feels the toy store girl was worth it??

Role model-are you kidding? She messed around on Billy Joel With that loser Taubman(who she now calls satan) and got pregnant by him before she was even divorced. She's been married about 4 times.
