It is a privledge to be able to send you a message. I have been a fan of yours since I was 9. I am now 58. When I was 11, I wrote you
a letter to an address in Hollywood and I was sent a beautiful glossy 3x5 black and white picture where you wore a black hat and light colored outfit with a broach. Very beautiful. To this day I always thought you signed it because the ink was blue and it looked raised. I am looking it it right now as I have it displayed in my home office. I always saw all of your movies. You ARE what I call the "movie star" and always will be. I am a singer and when I got to the point where my songs were playing on 101 radio stations in Texas, and had I requests perform concerts there, I decided I could not leave my 5 boys(including twins)and stayed in SF Bay area and played locally. I did receive "Female Vocalist of the Year" from The California Country Music Association. I started at 4 years old singing on San Francisco stages doing my own shows(San Francisco Opera House, etc.), which leads to why I followed your amazing life - I always wanted to be a movie star like you. Liz, thanks for sharing your life with all of who have loved your work for these many years. You have been very loyal to those you love and I've always admired that about you. I'm going to be 75 next Monday so I remember you when you first started in National Velvet and I recently acquired a copy of it. It still plays very well. And, you. You look MAHVELOUS!

I was proud to hear that you came out of the operation well. Today's operations - - well? Anyway, I hope there are zero complications. I have always thought of you as the epitomy of beauty. And I have always (without realizing it) compared them to you. You know the rest.

Ms Elizabeth, god speed with your recovery. We are about the same age so I know how these older bodies can sometime fail us. Lets grow old gracefully and hopefully pain free, right?
