Hilary Swank Admits She Sleeps Naked

Two-time Oscar winner Hilary Swank -- she took home the gold statue for 'Boys Don't Cry' and 'Million Dollar Baby' -- graces the cover of Marie Claire this month. In the interview she talks about sleeping in the nude despite her boyfriend's 6-year-old son's presence, not being able to get any part she wants, and that she does relax at times.

"My relaxation has always been my animals -- going to the dog park with them, going to the beach. I always try to carve out time in my day to be with them," she tells the magazine. See Photos and More

"It took me a while to learn how to actually have fun," Hilary Swank says in a new interview with Marie Claire.

People see her as all work and no play: "That's understandable, because that's how people see me all the time. And I will say that it took me a while to learn how to actually have fun. I think I was so driven and determined to get out of where I came from that I thought I had to be constantly focused."

She sleeps in the nude: "Well, my boyfriend's son is 6 years old, and you wonder at what age you should stop walking around nude. Every morning he comes into the bedroom, and you're just nude. But he doesn't look twice; he doesn't think about it yet. I just toss and turn too much when I sleep, and if I'm in clothes, I get all twisted up."

She can't get any role she wants: "I really chase the things that I want. I don't audition anymore, but I do go after things that I believe in. Someone will say, "Oh, I don't see Hilary in that role because she's not really that funny to me." So I'll say that I want to sit down with them so that they meet the real person behind the characters. I usually get roles that are not the conventional beauty."

I sleep in the nude, big deal. I've gone to nudist clubs and been nude in front of hundreds of children, men and women! Big deal! There is nothing shameful about the human body. Maybe we should put clothes on all the farm animals and all the cats and dogs out there! Get a life!

lol. finally!! someone else admits that they sleep in the nude like me. i also toss and turn when i sleep so when i wear clothes, they just get all twisted on me which also keeps me from comfortably sleeping. lol. i hate having to share a hotel room with friends cause i know i'll never be able to get any sleep that night b/c of it.
naked sleep is the best!

Shouldn't this be against the law? The boy is 6 years old not a baby. She is not related to him and this child witnesses her nude everymorning. If she nor the dad has no morals on the nudity, how much more is the child seeing that he shouldn't? A 6 year old knows she is a naked lady sleeping with his dad.

If she or anybody wants to sleep naked thats thier own bussiness, after all they are in thier own bed so whats the big deal???? Its not illegal yet!!!!! Hillary Swank, I don't believe you. I need absolute proof that you sleep naked. I want to see with my own eyes this blessed event. I would even poach your eggs for you in the morning, that is, if I'm still there. Because quite simply put, if I don't like what I see, you can just get up and get yourself a bowl of Capt'nCrunch. If you ask me really nice to stay, I might but you'd better be worth it. And if you tell anyone that we spent the night together, I'll deny it and do me a favor. lots of people all over the world sleep in the nude so whats the big deal, its not a crime, Just the pervs are trying to make it one or the crooked stalkers. Usually those are the disgusting types of people that refuse to work for a liveing and hang around all day trying to figure how to get more food stamps and more pot so they can watch the big screen TV They just have nothing else to do with thier lives but cause all sorts of problems for all the good people that actually pay thier taxes and work for a living. Its disgusting that these trouble making good fornothings can't get a job and keep it for even a year. Just disgusting but they sure can make a lot of trouble for everybody taht does work for a living.
