Since the death of his 4-year-old daughter Exodus in May, Mike Tyson still remains unclear about the details, but he likes it that way. "Because if I know, then there might be a blame for it. And if there's somebody to blame for it, there will be a problem," Tyson admitted to Oprah Winfrey on her show set to air Monday, Oct. 12.Tyson's 7-year-old son Miguel found Exodus entangled in a cord, dangling from an exercise treadmill at the family's Phoenix home. She subsequently died of her injuries a day later.
Tyson has been focusing more on his family in an attempt to overcome the tragic event and not react violently. "I was so happy that I had the tools in life, you know, to not go in that direction because I've been that direction," Tyson said (via PEOPLE.) "My family -- that's my biggest asset."
During the taping, he called his daughter "a little angel." Winfrey replied that she believes that's what Exodus has become.
"I don't know, Oprah. I'd like to believe that, and that sounds great," he said.

Mike Tyson is in no way shape or form a thug. He has had a rought life growing up and was taught since he was the age of a child to use his hands. You can't worship a man for his hands in the ring and when something happens outside the ring he has to get this crap. This man lost his child and all people can do is make smart comments. It's obvious you have never suffered a great loss. Keep your head up Mike. I got your back.

No Shawn, Mike is not a thug. At 13 robbed and beat an elderly lady almost senseless for $40 (convicted), Goes on to beat his wife Robin Givens senseless on a regular basis (admits it on 60 minutes), Oops rapes the Beauty Queen (convicted), thank God jail did him good, Tries to bite the ear off Evander Holyfield (on video), Oops, beats two guys senseless in a nightclub (convicted), Arrested for possession of cocaine (convicted).
Maybe Mike is just a little misunderstood.
I am not a fan of Mike Tyson or anything that he stands for. Regardless, my heart aches for him and anyone that loses a loved child.
He deserves the scorn he has brought onto himself...but not for this. No one deserves this.
He and his family are entitled to the compassion, understanding and privacy that is needed to endure such an insurmountable loss.

Where was the mother?

Oh...and another thing...a wise person once said the meaning of "crazy" is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting a different outcome. Remember Robin, Mike's first wife? She fled the marriage because of his beatings. And just when we begin to have faith in him once again, in the ring he bite off a guy's ear, for crissake. As for the rape, hey, he is famous and I wasn't there. What I am trying to say is this: he is not normal, he is out of control. Vegas is the perfect place for him.

Just a sad story. No telling what happened. You have to stay right with the kids unless you put them in a rubber room and then they may try to eat it. Yep she is his "little angel" and sure she will be missed.

Some of us get it Frank..

My heart goes out to Mr. Tyson and his family. I loved him as a champion, was ashamed of his behavior at times and saw a person from a troubled childhood become a troubled adult. All-in-all, I believe it would be difficult for any person raised as he was to suddenly be cast in the spotlight with fame and fortune and not make serious financial, legal and/or ethical errors. Mr. Tyson, only you know what you have endured and only you are responsible for your eternal fate. Be true to your faith and not those who pass judgement upon you for they too will be judged. Oeace....

i understand what people are saying. why just yesterday i saw big mike helping an old lady across the street. and last christmas he spent 12 hours down at the soup kitchen serving meals to the homeless. he is certainly a pillar to the community. i'm sure he felt robbed that obama got the nobel peace prize instead of him.

You know what, - some of you people make me sick. Yes, I know Mike isn't the most educated man in the world. And he has done a lot of stupid things in his life. But, he doesn't have a lot of life skills to call upon to help him make informed decisions. People like Don King have stolen millions from Mike, simply because - he could. !
Mike Tyson has suffered like none of us could ever endure. And for you self-righteous, hypocrites to pass judgement on him, is just plain wrong. He feels the same pain and torment as the rest of us. Walk just one mile in this guys shoes, and then talk about him like you do. I know the guy and I know there is more good than bad in this man.

AMEN!!
Hopefully Mike does regret his lifes actions. Its not up to us to judge but I doubt Mike was thinking of Angels at the time of conception. Mike was never acting, he was a truely disturbed individual and hopefully he is on the right path now. Most impotantly God Bless the innocent child Exodus.

Frank you are on point!!!! Let people who live in a make-believe world continue to be caught up in the "star" aspect of Mike Tyson. The fact that he could marry a few weeks later PROVED he wasn't that hurt....
Reply
You believe in Karma? So you are saying God made that little girl suffer in order to pay Tyson back for the wrongs he has done in life? What kind of God do you worship?
Reply
Yes, Frank, I get it too!

What about keeping it classy on here. I see a few braindead people are commenting worthless words.

All you Iron Mike haters have never made the mistakes the former champ has but maybe you didn't grow up with the train load of challenges and shortcomings that shaped his social and pysycological position. And most of you Iron Mike haters probably have never been to the top of the world like 'Iron Mike' either but that doesn't make you a loser. What makes you a loser is how you could speak so harshly about such a tragic loss with a complete lack of respect for the affected. My thoughts and prayers go out to Exodus and her family.

why are we still talking about this and if their is someone to blame charge them just like anyother person would be charged

Here we are in 2009 living in two America one white one black. The story here is abouy Mike Tyson losing a daughter here. It seems to me people want to make Mike's charther here the issue. The racist post will not stop the hate will come . Today Mike Tyson tomorrow it will be about President Obama or who every the black person is for the day. I feel so sad to live in a couuntry where people live with shades on 24 hours a day.The enconmy really got people stressing. look like to many rednecks are out of work.

"lets be real here, the girl lived with her mother in Phoenix ... Tyson had kids with this woman and stuck her in a home on the west side of Phoenix in a poor part of time. True he probably supported them, just another case of Tyson having children with all sorts of women. About three weeks after this daughters death he married another woman in Las Vegas where he was at the time of the child's death. Don't feel sorry for this pig..."
So it Tyson's choice where the mother chose to live huh?..Since when do men get to choose anything when it involves their children...It wouldn't haven't mattered anyway where they lived because the mom wouldv'e still left the child unattended..whether it was in a mansion or a shack..
