Comedian Jimmy Kimmel has found love on the set of his late night show. His rep confirmed to PEOPLE that Kimmel has been dating Molly McNearney, a longtime staffer on his ABC show, for several months. "After Jimmy and Sarah broke up, Molly and Jimmy both found themselves single, and they clicked," a source close to Kimmel said. "They're really happy together."
While the relationship may draw comparisons to David Letterman's recent revelations, the insider says, "during work hours, they keep things professional."
McNearney, 31, who first joined the show's staff as an assistant to the executive producer in July 2003, began writing on the show in 2006, and was promoted to her current position as co-head writer in May 2008.

Yea, like YOU know THE FACTS about anyone else's relationships!!!?!!! Unless YOU are in the relationship then shut your mouth and watch. You have NO IDEA as to what anyone else is doing with whom; you know no FACTS as to time lines, where anyone was when they were doing whatever, etc. Just slither through YOUR life, or can we know who you are so we can start to check your closets????
Oh no---he can't do that. According to the Gloria Allred, NOW types, that's sexual harassment at it's worst. You can't even speak to any woman you work with, let alone date one. Socializing? Hell no! This happens to be my favorite subject. We went through a situation at my work some years back where a women was being transferred to another state, due to personnel surplus cuts-----because she was "junior"--NOT because she was a woman. She just happened to be the only woman in that crew of 5, but was JUNIOR in seniority. Now this woman had the mouth of a drunken sailor and would regale us with her marital sex stories, to include the making of home movies. She'd come in to the breakroom in the morning and lean over our shoulders, sticking her boobs into our backs. Well, a month after she left, we were all called onto the carpet and told that she was coming back--that she had claimed "sexual harassment" by all of us men, even thought we were smart enough to keep our mouths shut around her. We were toild that any further problems and we would be "FIRED." Management knew this was a "ruse" and so did we. We all told them about her actions and stories, that if anything, it was reverse sexual harassment. Well, they didn't want to hear it. They said that she was just "trying to be one of the boys." Guess that makes it okay, huh? Long story short, from the day she returned, not one of us has ever spoken to her again, nor helped her out in any way. She is an outcast and her work life has been a miserable existence from that day on. Careful what you ask for Gloria Allred types.
It's not "Gloria Allred" types -- its about any man OR woman who wants to make a buck to get back at other people for whatever jealous or judgemental reason. Look at Letterman - an extortioner wanted to have a field day over him as a single man dating single women on his staff. News flash, a great deal of people date at work. The problem becomes when it is a power issue, the man/woman is in a higher position than the woman/man and USES it for job promotion and favoritism above other workers they may supervise. Actors, Actresses, Producers, Directors, TV Show hosts and Heads of Networks, etc. work with each other ALL the time and DATE and MARRY. Kimmel is still not immune, he may or may not get a law suit here later on. Remember Garry Shandling and HIS show? His coworker? They dated, she sued when her character was cut...? How soon we forget.
You really have a problem with women, don't you, dude?
Trust me, I worked at a small town newspaper, and I had both men AND women of the type you are describing. BOTH can be that way, but it doesn't mean all of one or the other IS that way.
Um, Mam, exactly showing any hate towards women no matter what they did should or "IS" contrived as misogyny. To all the women that responded here, any guy that shows negativity towards women is a sexist and misogynist? Well if it's true, which is not, it'll be a sad world. Not to mention any "opression" or disdain against men doesn't conatain or exist the term "misandrist", does it? I'm not an "anti-feminst" nor care because I don't believe in that. But still call me "misognyist" otherwise known as "anti-feminsit".
Nice name, Phuque. You must think you're SO clever. You're wrong. And your message smacks of the same sort of language that Mike's so called coworker used. Maybe she's a friend of yours.
Mike, I've seen the same sort of behavior and the same sort of response by supervisors and managers. They act out of fear, and the women who pull stunts like this can smell the fear on them. It does no favors for women who sincerely want to be a part of a work group or department by working hard and being part of the team. I'm a woman (like a man would use the name Nonnie!) and I support equal work for equal pay. I do NOT support equal pay for taking time off for the kids' dental appointments, school plays, parent teacher conferences, nail appointments, etc. And I saw WAY too much of that in the work place. And just as Blacks can't be racist (?), women can't be Misogynists.
Interesting twist. When is it dating, and when is it just sexual relations from a co-worker while you are emotionally attached to another???
Kimmel, is unattached, although we don't know how long ago he started dating her. On the other hand, Letterman WAS attached, and there were several. I am sure there are lots of details yet to be disclosed. But I hope every MALE as well as other females on his staff bring up a lawsuit, because his trysts had trips to Italy and Tropical places, that other staffers were not privy too. Unless of course he paid them extra on their paychecks to compensate. See....how the legal stuff can get all tangled up ?? heh
I'm sure he only bothered to make this public in order to avoid a Letterman type situation. So now the girl at the office he was boinking becomes his "girlfriend". After Sarah Silverman, anyone else would be a let down anyway.
Really? People think Sarah Silverman is hot? Just her voice grates through my brain like nails. I like how any young female that is in comedy is considered funny even when they're not. Am I the only one here who can't stand that chick?
OMG, I agree 100%. Sarah Silverman is super annoying. I don't think any normal, young guy will think she is hot. The media has been trying to force her on people for years. She is still a failure, even with all the media help. It's obvious public hates her and always will. She sucks!!! If I ever see her on TV, I stop watching that show immediately.
It's usually a bad idea to date where you work. You're not as smart as you think you are about handling your relationships if you think you're going to be an exception, and that you can trust anyone's motives, especially if you're the "boss" and the female is the underling.
