'Glee' Cast Pulled from Macy's Parade?

Looks like our favorite chorus members from 'Glee' have been dumped from Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade this year. While there is still speculation, TMZ reports that Macy's invited the FOX cast, but when rival NBC (who airs the parade) found out, they told the department store to pull the plug. TMZ reached out to a rep for FOX who declined to comment.

When the 'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy found out the news, he decided to take a verbal swipe at NBC... and the network's most famous comedian. "I completely understand NBC's position, and look forward to seeing a Jay Leno float," he told EW.com.

'Glee' is a musical comedy-drama television series that airs on Fox. It focuses on a high school show choir, also known as a glee club, set within the fictional William McKinley High School in Lima, Ohio.

The first season began airing on September 9, 2009. It stars Lea Michele, Jane Lynch, Jayma Mays and Kevin McHale.

NBC pull the plug on a FOX show in the parade? Why would they do that? Maybe that is what all of you need to ask. FOX network, primarily FOX News, does just that, ask. They ask questions when something doesn't look or sound right. WE ALL SHOULD DO THE SAME. Asking about the reason for something or the result of something is a necessary part of our society. NBC, CBS and ABC don't want to ask because they are afraid the answers may make their choices and affiliations look bad, something they can't bear. FOX News asks and the entire FOX Network will pay the priceif the other networks have anything to do with it - even if the FOX program they can get revenge on is not FOX News. We are looking at a "change we can believe in". The change is to silence criticism and questioning - I guess they think that is not in the constitution, but healthcare is.

IF this is TRUE - all I can say is "Welcome to Venezuala!" - where people and media and press and entertainment are so controlled that the people have NO VOICE and NO FREEDOM! I would imagine that this show out-rates anything that NBC has on and many people will be disappointed that it is not featured in the parade. Hopefully many will speak out and send NBC a clear message that we don't like it's over-bearing control! Sounds like a discrimination law suit to me!

Macy's...I love you ...no matter what...you are the best store for the middle class in america...no matter how ignorant " some" of them are.

I don't know who is worse, the NBC for being so childish or the people who criticize Macy's which has nothing to do with the decision to drop Glee or the people who are paranoid to believe this has political implications.

Well it's time for a new Thanksgiving morning tradition. For decades we've watched the bad lip-synching, cheesy segues, and listened to the corny, awkward, mock-sincere commentary from the Today Show people. It's always the same, it's always bad...so this year we'll watch whatever's on Fox. Funny how the left, the putative protectors of free speech and anti-censorship, are more draconian political censors than China.

NBC does not have the power to select parade participants, a panel of multiple individuals decides that. Further, NBC does not broadcast every single parade participant, if they had something against Glee they would just skip that group. This is a silly story, maybe Fox is just trying to get us more interested in Glee.

Fox prohibits it's "Stars" from appearing on the Jay Leno Show (NBC) so....what goes around COMES AROUND.

I guess NBC will replace the Glee cast with Leno doing splits or Reality TV fake arguments. Boycott NBC's cheap shows with no pesky actors or writers!

Just like a Democrap. Spew your hatred and you don't care who you hurt. Take it out on kids,NBC that's your style. Saying it's just a Parade or it's just a show doesn't make the hurt go away for these kids. This is how it starts people. Obama run network, NBC says who may be put in the parade and may not. That is just more behing the scenes government control. The rest of the world is getting stronger (Russia and china reaching a partnership)Our dollar which has been the worlds currency has gone down drastically in the past week and Europe and others want it replaced, which would cripple America ! No one wants too admit where we are heading.
