The tune premiered on MichaelJackson.com with the touching line "This is it, here I stand. I'm the light of the world, I feel grand." 'This Is It' is the the first from the documentary on the troubled superstar with the same title. Listen to It Below!"This is It" premiered on Jackson's official Web site www.MichaelJackson.com at midnight EDT (0400 GMT Monday). The
mid-tempo number features Jackson's trademark vocal style, background vocals from his brothers and some orchestral backing.
A documentary on Jackson also called "This is It" opens Oct. 28 for a limited two-week run. It shows footage of the singer
rehearsing for his planned London concerts, which never happened because of his sudden death on June 25.
The song appears in the documentary's closing sequences and will be included in the two-disc CD set that accompanies the movie.

This Michael Jackson -post death- obsession is almost sickening. I think it's because the entire world feels sorry for making fun of him.

He's dead?
To Cold,
You people certainly pick appropriate names for yourselves, although I honestly believe King Michael chose the best name for you idiots, IGNORANT!!! What do you mean he was antiSemitic? Didn't a JEW just release a book called The Michael Jackson Tapes, with over thirty(30) hours of audio coverage, a Rabbi Schmuley? What are you haters talking about?. LEAVE KING MICHAEL AND HIS FAMILY ALONE YOU PEOPLE GET YOUR DAMN FACTS STRAIGHT!!!! King Michael loved PEOPLE PERIOD!!!! HE SUFFERED WITH A SKIN DISEASE CALLED VITILIGO. HE WAS AN AFRICAN AMERICAN WHO WAS DAMN, DAMN, DAMN PROUD OF HIS RACE AND DIDN'T WANT TO BE WHITE OR ANY OTHER RACE ,BECAUSE HE STATED THIS ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASSION!!!! EVERY RACE OUT THERE TRYING TO CLAIM HIS AS THEIR OWN BECAUSE HE WAS GREATER THAN GREAT ( AND DAMN WELL STILL IS AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE GREATER THAN GREAT TILL WORLD WITHOUT END AMEN!!!!) STOP IT IN THE NAME OF LOVE!!!!! You losers will never achieve the remarkable success, and leave an indelible mark on society as King Michael Joseph Jackson!!! You haters take your lies, scram, get out of here, leave the galaxy, "Beat It"!!! R.I.P. Glorious ,Fabulous, INNOCENT OF ANY WRONG-DOING, Miraculous, Iconic King Of Pop ,King Michael Joseph Jackson!!!!! I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVEEEEEE YOU!!!!!!!!!

Michael was a extrodinary person, he loved what he did and people. He tried to help people any chance he got, and for greed and love of money some people made that a ugly thing. People can think what they want, but I think the world lost a remarkable, kind, caring talented human being that personally I will never forget, because through his songs he touched my life and I had some of the most wonderful memories with my friends listening to his music. I will always be grateful to him for those memories.
To Raven,
Didnt I just finish telling you morons get out of here?!!!! King Michael is an ICON, you will hear about him forever. He is a LEGEND, AN ICON WHICH MEANS HE IS ONE WHO IS REVERED, you will ALWAYS HEAR ABOUT HIM. Switch galaxies if you have grown weary of this one.

I am a Michael Jackson fan too - but NO ONE has the right to shut anyone down for their opinion. This is America and we have freedom of speech - so get off it!!
Gosh this breaks my heart to hear that song. He was true talent. I wont go see the movie about the last few hours of his life. It's too heart breaking for me and would be too hard to watch. RIP Michael. May your soul know eternal peace.

To Kati,
Go see the film, I feel the same, perhaps it will help us find the road to healing, we will ALWAYS miss him though. Living in a world without him is TOUGH, but we must live and believe he would want us to carry on. God please help his children, his family, and his loving fans, we all miss him soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much!!!!!!
Michael Jackson-This Is It...NO, he was "IT". He was the IT that FIT so many of our lives. He was the SH**! NOBODY has ever come close to the talent that he possessed. I will not SUBMIT to the lies and tortuous insults that people have laid on this great spirit of a man. To those that didn't like Michael, just "BEAT IT"! GIT! I will see "This Is It" because Michael would want me to see IT. He performed to entertain, and that would be his last wish...for people to be entertained by his performance that they did not get to see. Many talented people spliced together his final rehearsal to bring this to us, and I can't WAIT to see "This Is It".
Great talent great song. He will be missed. It is not about his color, black, white green or whatever. It was about his talent and being a good person.

the new song only makes me miss him more. his voice was so soothing. he still had the same talent at 50. such a beautiful man. i miss you, michael. i cannot wait until the movie, just to feel that ounce of your purity once again.

I love the new song. I wanted to go see his movie but I am not comfy with the idea yet... I'm still very sad that Michael has passed. Maybe within time I will have the courage......but for now, not just yet...

Idiot. The song was "They Don't Really Care About us." The line in the song is "Kick me, kike me, don't you black or white me" and he was talking about racism. Get your fact straight before you open your idiotic mouth.

it is true they don,t care about us

i loved michael jackson very much. this song truly breaks my heart. and i wish people would stop being like this. the facts are: he really did have vitiligo.....the autopsy proved it. so stop denying it.
he was a true talent and i loved him even before he died but the people who just started "obsessing" over him only after he died, are just pathetic, fake, and yes, feel sorry for making fun of him before.
please stop blogging this stupid S*** because you are wasting your time. i wish constant-bloggers would address their problems and MOVE ONE with their lives! GET OVER YOURSELVES. if you KNOW you are right, then whats the point in proving it to OTHER PEOPLE on the freakin INTERNET that you dont even KNOW!? would u go up to some random stranger and say "Michael Jackson was great!" and they say "no he wasnt!" and have a week long argument about it? NO. so stop blogging up the internet with your stupidity.

I cried when I heard it. He was so GOOD! I don't know about his personal life; I was not there and it's not for me to judge. I just know there will never be another Michael. There will never be another performer who will ever come close to being as good as him. He truely did give us love. Why couldn't someone dispicable die instead-- like Bush or Cheney?! Guess God wanted him Home.

For anyone who comments on this, you will never in your lifetime see an entertainer that was as good as Michael was. The only one I've ever seen that came that close was Michael Jordan on the basketball court. But when it comes to music and just pure talent, I don't think there will ever be another Michael Jackson. RIP bud, I still love all of your music!
Dear Cold
If you don't know facts, you should keep your mouth shut. Ignorance is no excuse for being an idiot!
