First Look: New 'Toy Story 3' Trailer

Disney and Pixar have rattled off all sorts of hits in recent years, though none can really compete with the staying power of 'Toy Story.' Coming next summer, 'Toy Story 3' will play with the emotions of kids and adults alike when it hits theaters. The plot revolves around main character Andy going away to college and contemplating throwing out all of his old toys ... you know, Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) and the entire gaggle from previous adventures.

The toys, of course, will do anything to avoid their demise, and plot to avoid going from the toy trunk to the trash can. Everyone's back, including the always-reliable Hamm the Piggy Bank and Rex the Green Dinosaur.

The movie is set for a release on June 18, 2010.

I am psyched! I consider numbers 1 & 2 my favorite animated movies of all time. The trailer had tears in my eyes from the second it began but laughing by the end.

Cannot wait for TS3. We just went to the double feature of 1 and 2 and saw the trailer on the big screen. Fantastic. I have to say for toys that were played with constantly, they look to be in pretty good shape though. Maybe it's different for boys than it is for girls but my daughter (who is almost 17 now) still has her original Buzz and Woody from 1995. Other toys have come and gone but they're still in a box in her cupboard. Every time we clean out they manage to avoid the goodwill :D
