It's a Girl for Heidi Klum and Seal

Look out, fashion world -- a new supermodel may have just been born, as Heidi Klum and Seal welcomed their fourth child into their family. PEOPLE has confirmed that the couple gave birth to daughter Lou Sulola Samuel on the evening of Oct. 9. No weight or height for baby Lou was given.

In a statement released on Monday night, Seal spoke for the couple, saying: "It's difficult to imagine loving another child as much as you love your existing children. Anyone who has a family will tell you this. Where will one find that extra love? If you love your existing children with all of your heart, how then can one possibly find more heart with which to love another?"

"On Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, at 7:46 p.m., the answer to this question came in the form of our fourth child and second daughter," he continues. "Lou Sulola Samuel was born, and from the moment she looked into both of our eyes, it was endless love at first sight. She is beautiful beyond words and we are happy that she chose us to watch her grow over the coming years."

The couple's baby news was abruptly given out by Seal during a concert in April, much to the surprise of Klum, who planned on keeping things private a bit longer. "[The news] came out faster than I wanted it to ... My husband kind of surprised me and everybody at one of his concerts," Klum said following the leak.

I LOVE Heidi Klum; Seal, not so much! He always seems to be walking a step in front of her and not on the outside. Seems picky, but as a Britisher, the etiqiette should have been instilled at an early age, and I just see her caring far more for him than he for her. I hope I'm wrong, and that they live a long, happy life together w/their kids. And Lou is a great name!

I have come to a conclusion and a realization regarding people like "William". People like "William", are just miserable, angry people, who want attention by trying to get everybody all riled up with their ugly,hateful,racist comments. I have learned to just IGNORE these people,and not give them what they want..... a response. I suggest everyone else do the same. Don't give them a response. No one can save these people except them! Speaking from experience, I so agree with giving kids gender appropiate names. I've spent my whole life hating my name, and did use a nickname when I reached Jr. High. I realized in the first grade that I was different. When the teacher called names, and every single time someone would say," Jimmie, that's a boy's name". I was so bashful, it set me up for years of painful experiences. I always had to repeat my name when meeting someone new, Jimmie Lou, and I didn't like the name Lou either, but hated being called just Jimmie, so what a mess. Then, to top it all off, I married a guy named Neal, but found out that was a middle name. He was Marion O'Neal. So, I strongly advise parents not to give boy names to girls, and vice versus. You can't know if your child will be one of the lucky ones who can handle a lifetime of explaining why you have a boy's name. Like I had a choice in the matter.
