Meredith: 'I'm an Old Horny Woman'

First she's "naked" on the nightly news, and now this.

On an episode of 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire?,' one of the guests got Meredith Vieira all hot and bothered.

The 'Today Show' host, pulling double duty on 'Millionaire,' called up Navy pilot Max Sherman to the show, and really liked what she saw. "Ok Max, you are one handsome guy," she exclaimed. "I don't normally like to fly but I am changing my mind." Watch What Happens Next

"Listen we don't have much time, so we want to play OK?" she said. "I'm ready to play anytime with you, Max."

"Look, you don't get 'em like this that often," she explained before starting the game. "I have even more respect for the military," Meredith added.

She continued to shamelessly flirt with the contestant during the segment. "I know, it's pathetic. I'm an old horny woman, all right? Give me a break."

The next question provided for additional laughs. "The childhood prank known as a 'wet willie' involves putting a wet finger in someone's what?" Meredith read, prompting her to say, "Anywhere you want to put it, Max!"

Max, of course, knew the answer. "Fortunately, I never quite grew up, would it suffice if I just gave you one?" He then proceeded to give her a 'wet willie.'

In today's society, no one can take a joke or laugh at themselves. She was just having a little fun and flirting. What's wrong with that? I love to flirt and I love it when someone flirts with me. I don't take it to heart and I don't think it's sexist. Come on - have a little fun in life without wanting to sue someone!

You can tell that both of them were having fun. He didn't seem uncomfortable and--bottom line--it was funny and entertaining.
It could have been creepy, but it wasn't, so lighten up everyone!

That is too funny. Meredith obviously "lost it" when she laid eyes on Max. I think she probably felt embarrassed afterward. It was harmless & a very human reaction. The rest of us are lucky that we can hide our feelings from millions of people. Yeah, he is gorgeous!

She washe's giving him a compliment and having a little fun. We aren't robbots. How can it be sexual harrassment when MAX was the one who said let me show you the wet willie. When two people flirt, there's consent between the two. She may have been a little too complimentary with but she also showed that humans can and should still have a little fun. I'm the conservative type and I didn't find it out of line. Two people kidding a bit and so what? The only person that should be complaining is MAX and I don't think he has. Why should he? He welcomed it.

bull. if it were a man saying it to a woman, there is NO WAY this would be news. this happens on every game show ans entertainment interview show you see, and it's not "abnormal" for a man to do it. it would get an eye roll and nothing more. when a woman does it, appropriate or not, THEN it's news.

it's totally unprofessional for her to do this, but i still approve because it illustrates a point. in 100 years when women are seen as men's equals, it will bother me. right now - meh.

If I was Mr. Navy, I would have taken Meredith to the nearest fancy hotel, had a very elaborate evening,(dining, dancing, dirty talk etc.) and then her and me would have had the best, sex either one of us had ever had. She was very much into this guy and would have shown him in so many ways, how much she appreciated his "company". Hell, I'm gettin' all worked up just thinking about this situation. It's all good.
