La Toya: Michael Wouldn't Like 'This' Film

La Toya Jackson says her late brother Michael wouldn't be pleased with the 'This Is It' documentary being released later this month, which shows footage of his final days and rehearsals. Talking with Access Hollywood, La Toya says that because it was a rehearsal, Michael "wasn't giving it his all," and because of that, he wouldn't want people to see the performances in 'This.'

"He loves to give his all always. That's just the way he is," Jackson said in the interview. "He wants people to see him at the top of the ladder and not half-stepping because he doesn't want to do a full-out rehearsal."

La Toya also spoke out about the newly released Jackson single 'This Is It.' She says "it's wonderful to hear something from him because he hasn't had anything out in awhile."

The release of the single was a welcome treat for all Michael Jackson fans, but much of the buzz quickly turned to the fact that it was actually an older song that was rebuilt to be released now.

Despite her qualms with the impending documentary, La Toya says she'll stand by the film.

"I will support my brother in any way I can ... I love him," she said.

what upsets me so much is how LaToya is hungry for the spotlight. i remember a week ago watching a YouTube video of some awards show in Europe & she came out all jolly about her brother's death & introduced some tribute group dedicated to him. Janet, on the other hand, isn't trying to be in a spotlight. she is handling herself professionally. obviously Janet was much closer to Michael than the others.

Michael might or might not have liked this film...but i am going to see it because i know he did not work hard for nothing. anything ounce of him is good enough for me. i love you, Michael.

I remember when the Jackson 5 first came to be in the late 60's. I was a teenager who could not hear enough of Michael's singing even then. As the years have went by I still remained a fan of his music and loved to watch him dance. The day he died was a sad one because like many others I felt that the music world lost the greatest. He opened the doors for so many who are in the business today.
This movie is a chance for us to see him doing what he loved one last time. It is a treasure for all his fans. LaToya needs to go back where she was hiding all the years he needed her when he was alive.

I'd have to say that "this isnt it",as i bet there's Tons of unreleased songs and hours and hours of video tape of MJ that's will surface in the future...After Jimi Hendrix died they were able to edit together several whole albums from Jimi's music...also Stevie Ray Vaughn the same thing..so to all MJ fans out there...i guarantee that we're going to see and hear much more of MJ's work,especially with all the modern technology...so yeah i just hope all the money made off MJ's stuff goes to his kids and not some greedy lawyers or producers...i wonder who owns all the rights to his music and also If Paul McCartney will be able to acquire back all the Beatles music that MJ bought and owned the rights to...

Speaking of a loved one after they have died in the present tense is common, have you ever lost a loved one? It takes time for reality to take hold, and THE PAIN NEVER SUBSIDES!!! Latoya, if you are reading this, I just want you to know that Michael was always fantastic no matter what he did. He had this exceptional talent and being inside himself that no one could ever replace. Michael is the heart of purity and, I have always seen that pure light within his soul. I love Michael and miss him terribly, As far as how his rehearsals went, he was always perfect no matter what he did.
