Monaghan 'Can't See' McDreamy as Sexy

Michelle Monaghan worked as a model to pay for college in Chicago, but if her life had taken a few different turns, she could have found herself as a female big rig driver out on America's great highways just like her character Diane Ford in her just-released indie flick 'Trucker.' PopEater got the chance to catch up Monaghan, who opined on how tough driving a truck was and also how she just can't seem to think of her 'Maid of Honor' co-star Patrick Dempsey as sexy. Monaghan gets down and dirty for her role as a female trucker who cusses like a cowboy and fights like a dude. She even swore she wasn't going to make the movie if she wasn't able to get her truck-driving license first.

"Getting that license was a real challenge for me and there were some moments I didn't know I would be able to do it but I made a deal with myself and the director that if I couldn't get the license I wouldn't do the movie," Monaghan told PopEater. "Once you're actually driving those big rigs and you're seeing the world from that perspective you can understand why people love doing it."

She even buffed up a little bit for the role. "Shifting gears requires some muscle," Monaghan said. "So I needed whatever muscle I do have to come to the surface so I was doing arm weights." But that was it. Despite the fact the Michelle appears on screen in little more than a pair of undies, she didn't pay attention to how her booty was going to look onscreen.

"I really didn't do anything to train for that. It was all natural," she claimed. We're jealous.

Michelle's character carries on a flirtation with the adorable Nathan Fillion in the movie, but even though she has gotten to smooch him and Benjamin Bratt, Patrick Dempsey and Ben Stiller onscreen, she says none of them is as sexy as her own hubby, graphic designer, Peter White.

"They're actors and they're all really charming and good looking in their own way, but at the end of the day you spend so much time with them and see them look disgusting at four in the morning so it's hard to even see them as sexy."

Even McDreamy?

"Patrick is sexy of course but I just can't see him that way. I see him as this loving father who is wild about his wife and his kids and his family. At first glance, yes he is a sexy man but that all goes away after you get to know him as a real person."
