Falcon Heene, the missing Colorado boy initially believed to have been carried away in a homemade balloon Thursday, was found alive and unharmed. The boy was hiding in his attic during a widely televised search, according to
CNN.
Heene was once featured along with his "science-obsessed" family in the 100th episode of
'Wife Swap.' On
ABC's site for the show, the Heenes are described as a "storm-chasing, science-obsessed" family of five. "When the Heene family aren't chasing storms, they devote their time to scientific experiments that include looking for extraterrestrials and building a research-gathering flying saucer to send into the eye of the storm." //

Parents
Richard Heene and Mayumi Heene have been known to take their sons Bradford, Ryo, and Falcon on trips to track down tornadoes and other storms. An ABC affiliate profiled the family in 2008 as they chased Hurricane Gustav.
'Wife Swap' is a reality show where mothers from two very different families trade places.
The drama surrounding the Heene family began in Fort Collins on Thursday when a homemade balloon aircraft floated away from a backyard after Falcon was thought to have been seen climbing inside. This set off a frantic scramble by the military and law enforcement agencies. Two hours later, the balloon slowly touched down in a field -- but with no sign of the boy inside.
Authorities feverishly searched for any sign of the child on the ground, including in the neighborhood where he lives. AOL News has all the ridiculousness

AFTER SEEING THIS CLIP, YOU CAN NOW SEE HOW THIS CHILD
ENDED UP IN THAT AIR BALLOON. THAT FATHER IS A TOTAL
IDIOT, MENTAL CASE. I DOUBT VERY MUCH HE EVER TOOK
ANY PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT HIS KIDS AGAINST HIS CRAZY
INSANE IDEAS, AND PROBABLY LET THEM PLAY WITH ANY
AND ALL DANGEROUS INVENTIONS OF HIS. IF ANYTHING HAS
HAPPENED TO THIS CHILD, HE HAS NO ONE TO BLAME BUT
HIMSELF.

The dad seems totally nuts. Poor kids have to live with the crazy parents and will probably grow up to be just as crazy and stupid.

I hope the parents are charged for the costs of this wild goose chase.

I hope he has to pay for all of those peoples time and use of the helicopters. Then spend some time in jail for taking those emergency personel away from being ready for a real crisis. He's a nut.
I have a six year old grand daughter and I was distrubed at the feeling of this six year old falcon flying in that balloon thinking the basket was detached during this whole ordeal. Why would any parent not have some security around that project. Then who was the adult at home watching the boys? The parent's should be charged with child endangerment and pay all the expenses to cover this event if they had any knowledge before hand. This economy is in bad shape now and to get attention this way is sad.

The first time I read the kids name was Falcon I became suspicious of a hoax. These people have caused a lot of trouble and worse of all it could have ended tragically if some one got hurt or killed hunting this kid and how about the cost? These idiots should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law...............

He made me waste some sympathy that I could of used for someone who really needed it. Got me.

Most of you people are whats wrong with America today. Let's just create all the laws we need to make sure we are all contained in a little safe bubble. These kids are getting experiences you obviously never had. Where's you're sense of adventure. The parents are are obviously educated in meteorology of storms to know what their doing. Is it fail-safe? nope. But either is waking up for a new day. What's sad is.. because of this story, big brother is going to come in and say "no more, just stay home and watch TV where you're safe!!

From a father who was also involved in a "reality" tv series with one of my kids in the past, John, you are way off base. This has nothing to do with getting the kids out and letting them have experiences or creating more laws to protect people from themselves basically. This has everything to to with a nut case, who was ostracized by the mainstream storm chaser community years ago, who tried to exploit his child in order to recapture another 15 minutes of fame..and he got busted and needs to be punished.
Whats wrong with America? People who don't have the facts before they open their mouths. That seems to be a far bigger concern.
there as crazy as there parents and they give a bad name to mixed raced half Oriental and Half white children
