It makes me wonder why Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are exposing their child the way they do. It would creep me out if people were always following my little girl taking her picture.

I quite agree and the bottom line is this - who cares? What a sad state of affairs when folks need to follow celebrities to have some excitement.

I replied to this because it popped up on my screen and I am sick of all the hoopla about celebrity kids.

I agree, Molly B .... They are putting their little one at risk by partnering with the media in an exploitative maneuver to gain more publicity for themselves at the little girl's expense. We would like to think that people who are so blessed with high-paying careers and such a beautiful child would consider something sacred .... at least their child.

Didn't read that they spend hundreds of thousands on Suri's clothes??? God forgive me but the lil girl looks like she wears second hand clothes. Kate? don't even get me started. Hire a stylist, wash your face and put on a lil makup! It wouldn't hurt to look like a lady would it???

Yes, I agree. Suri is the most 'unkept' child I have ever seen. She looks like she was just rescued from being abandoned or something. Hair always a mess. Does she not own a pair of socks ? I see a blanket being wrapped around her to keep her warm, but at the same time she has no jacket or sweater, nor socks to keep her feet warm. She always looks like a rag-a-muffin. Poor tyke.

People are so negative. They aren't putting this child out there. They are stalked. They are a beautiful family spending time together doing normal things. Sightseeing, mom taking her daughter out for the day and dad playing with his child and the three of them together. The paps use lenses that they can take pics from hundreds of feet away. I'm happy for this adorable family. It is a pleasure to see them all smiling and so happy.

I'm so tired of people mentioning little Suri's hair! she's a little girl, with long hair. I am sure it gets combed when she gets ready/dressed but after playing (like a little girl usually does!) it tends to get messed up. Gosh, I remember being a little girl and my mom combing my hair, trying to get knots out - every morning, but by lunchtime, my hair was in tangles again. Leave her alone! She's darn cute, messy hair and all!!

I was wondering too about the socks and a sweater or coat too.. it seems that even when shes in NY she never has them on and its chilly out there for a child not to have them on.. also it was said recently that the Cruises have spent 3 million dollars on clothes for Suri this year but it sure doesn*t look that way.. her clothes look all raggidy and used and she never ever look like she matches at all.. someone better tell Katie how to dress that little girl and make her look like she doesn*t live on the streets ... she looks like a poor little girl with clothes from the garbage.. she is such a doll but always looks like a rag doll..

This time last year, everyone was b*tching and moaning that this little girl always looked too put together. 'Don't they ever let her play...she's always in a dress...whaawhaa'. I say let them dress their kid in whatever they want her to wear. I am a stay at home mom with 2 small kids and there is rarely a time when they look presentable.

everytime i see suri cruise the poor child looks like a ragamuffin,where does her parents get her clothes at the salvation army?? her hair always looks dirty and needs a haircut!! her mother is sloppy and needs a makeover!! with all there money?? i just dont get it?? Why would anyone buy their three-year-old child designer clothes to wear on a day out? Kids play, it's what they're supposed to do. I know for sure that even if I DID have the money that they do, I wouldn't spend tens of thousands of dollars on designer clothes that my child would either ruin or grow out of before she even got to wear it twice. I also wouldn't want to wear expensive clothing or a lot of makeup while on an outing with my child; I'd spend too much time worrying about my appearance in them to be able to enjoy the outing with my child.

Suri is cute, but it's too bad her mother (or nanny, for that matter) can't ever find a brush. Or socks, or decent clothes. She looks like she is wearing someone's hand-me-downs (goodwill?) that don't fit or match. Even when she's wearing a cute dress, her hair is a mess and she's not wearing socks. It's not a big deal, I would just like to see her look as cute as she is in a cute outfit with her hair combed!
