Watch: The Heenes on 'Wife Swap'

In the past 24 hours, balloon boy Falcon Heene has made a name for himself. The 6-year-old son of storm-chasers was thought to be inside of a mylar balloon that took flight in Colorado. It turned out that he was never inside at all, and now he's making the rounds on talk shows. But it's not his first time on television.

His family participated in ABC's 'Wife Swap,' where two families switch mothers as part of the reality series. In this episode, Heene's mother traded places with Sherri Silver, a psychic mom of two, and hilarity ensued. Watch

When Mayumi Heene meets the family she will live with for two weeks, they clash from the beginning. She mocks her fellow wife's profession, "Mayumi's going to have a great time, I see it," she predicts while hovering over a crystal ball.

"He's a very feminine husband," she adds of Sam Silver, who is a stay-at-home dad.

"She's a lazy b-tch," Mayumi explains, after realizing Sherri does none of the housework.

"Is that like a dead poodle or something?" Mrs. Heene remarks when she sees Sam's hair.

Sam, himself, believes it's fate that these two families are coming together.

"They say the viewers voted to put Sherri and Mayumi's family together. But actually the universe wanted that because you're looking at a scientist and a psychic together."

Meanwhile, Sherri tries to deal with the Heenes. At first, they are excited to meet a psychic and the boys dance around joyfully. But it fades quickly.

Richard Heene tries to get Sherri to read his mind, but when it falls apart, she gets upset.

"Why don't we do this another time? You know I don't need to sit here and do a test the second I meet you, I really don't," Sherri says.

"She claims that this is what she does but then why can't she see through my brain and my eyes at what I'm looking at?" Richard questions.

Sherri is also shocked at the language the Heene boys use, as she tries to put them to bed.

"How the children were behaving was unbelievable. I guess Richard feels that that's some kind of game they play," she laments.

Yeah it was funny but the idea of the little boy in that aparatus like theSheriff said,lol kept me in suspense.Is more to this story than his parents are letting us know, we will see.

Remember the story of the little boy who cried wolf too many times? This family has carried their national exposure too far this time. Even if they did believe their son to be in the balloon, you don't call the news media prior to 911.

After seeing how the Dad treated that woman on wife swap it worries me how he must have reacted to his son's "confession" that he hid because his dad told him it was all part of the show, especially since he was sick and threw up. I believe he was very afraid of his dad which made him sick.

After watching a clip on Wife Swap, it is clear to me that they are nuts and capable of inventing such a pathetic lie, "just for show". The parents are both crazy lunatics with too much time on their hands. Those boys have terrible manners and are coached by the father, and their mother is obviously abused and is at his mercy, she couldn't even talk in any of the interviews because he probably instructed her not to. This man is to blame for this entire publicity stunt !! Yes, they should be fined!

That man is a raging lunatic!!! He is all about himself and has no respect for anyone else, especially his own wife.I think it was a hoax and I hope the investgations prove it and they are charged. He needs to worry more about his son, than his crazy imagination,if he did, he would have known where his son was to begin with!

I am not sure this was a hoax to begin with. In the video taken by the oldest son, it shows the balloon was to lift only 20 ft. in the air. The wife disconnected a tether which made it launch. In the video, it is easy to see there was no way a child could have been in that thing. There was no opening for entrance. The dad absolutely went berserk when he realized what his wife did. I think this is a very disfunctional family-children are out of control and look brainwashed or something. They were to be in school at this time. This family needs to be investigated.

I think that the child's "disappearance" was a publicity stunt that was cooked up by his lunatic father. Mr. Heene seems like an unstable, egotistical, misogynistic man. His mannerisms are typical of an abuser.

i beleive this was all for show.. the money and time that was spent for falcon , well they should payy for everything. Enough is enough.... This amount of positive attention will create an atmosphere where other "publicity seeking nut cases" come out of the closet and try to make money by sensationalizing their families at everyone expense. It is obvious that this father is pulling an expensive stunt for monetary gain. He has gotten away with it on numerous occasions with reality shows, storm chasing and alien hunting. He is a person who needs serious mental health attention and instead we, as a sociality, are feeding into it by making his "stunt" pay off with big bucks. He needs to be prosecuted. His children need to be taken away and the sheriff needs to look at the facts and come clean with the public. We are not fools. It is dangerous to let this guy get away with this type of shenhanigans.

What is with the media covering this story for two full days. Larry King spent ONE HOUR on it yesterday. It is a NON-story. This couple is out to lunch. The wife was totally inappropriate on wife swap and clueless to parenting. I ALSO REMEMBER HER ENGISH BEING BETTER. THE FATHER WAS OBNOXIOUS AND ABNORMAL.
