His audience is wondering - is he just sick, having caught a cold on a flight earlier this week, as he said on a voicemail left for producer Gary "Baba Booey" Dell'Abate? Or is Lange back on smack, as many, including Howard have publicly wondered.Lange sent in another text message this morning explaining his absence, but Howard wouldn't read it on the air. However, he did show Robin Quivers, who responded, "Oh dear. I thought what he's taking is supposed to prevent that." The mystery continues into week 2.

The show lost it's funniest man when Jackie Martling left the show. I know it was his own fault but he was hilarious. Artie has just never made me laugh. The best thing Howard can do is mend the fence with Jackie and get him back on the show. And Jackie should take the best offer they give him and live with it until he proves that he can draw more listeners to satellite radio than Artie. And he will. Bring back Jackie!

Artie has done some good work in the past. I don't find him funny anymore. Is he trying to be the next overweight, substance abusing, dead comedian?
If not, it sure as hell looks like it.

Artie's way funnier than Jackie the Jokeman ever was. The funniest part is his honesty and his tales of his druggy past, especially him snorting coke while wearing a pig's head, during filming of one of his early movies.
He's pulled the disappearing act before, which was drug related. That's not a good sign of his sudden absence.
No matter, let's just hope he lives a while longer..

Artie is not doing this for a stunt...he has problems...and for all of you who think Howard is old and boring...really??? only been doing for 30 years and still has 12 millions PAYING customers...tune in to Bob and Tom for 25 minutes an hours and go nuts with them laughing the whole time....nice...or Rush...don't make fun..just stop listening

Yes--
I care..
his story is unique..intriguing.
I feel bad for him.. he has the keys to the world but his addictions will be the end of him.

Who cares what happened to him? Hopefully he is shooting tons of smack and he will get everyone else on that show hooked too. Too bad they can't ban Howard Stern from the air, he is a pig and his cronies are no better.

Howard is a loser and a pig and apparently so is this guy. Howard loves the freaks since he is one himself. Perverts, both.

WHO CARES???? Artie is a filthy no-talent pig/slob, looks disgusting and is not one bit funny!!!!! Anothert piece of DEAD weight on the Howard "team" is Robin, what does she bring to the table anyway...I listened for years, when before they went to satelite, and even then Robin annoyed me immensely....now after they moved to satelite, I felt paying to torture myself listening to senseless babbling, her and that freak Artie was too much to ask! I do still like Howard though, I think the guy can be really funny, sometimes a little too out there, but funny none the less.

Science doesn't have a number small enough to measure how little this matters. To call this fat azzhole D-List insults the other D-listers. He's toilet film.

C'mon Howard, it's time to save his life with an intervention. Step up and do something.

I LOVE THE HOWARD ZOMBIES THAT THINK EVERY ONE SUBSCRIBED TO SIRIUS / XM LISTENS TO THAT UNFUNNY JEWISH GRANDMOTHER.
HOWARD HAS LESS THAN 2 MILLION LISTENERS - ACCORDING TO SIRIUS THEMSELVES !
THAT'S LESS THAN 10 PERCENT OF HIS OLD FM AUDIENCE.
TALK ABOUT A WASHED UP FAILURE.
HANG UP YOUR PANTIES, HOWIE...
NO ONLE LISTENS, OR CARES ANYMORE

Good one SHANE, did you think that up all by yourself?
