Watch: Elisabeth Hasselbeck's 'View' of Her Nipple Slip

Elisabeth Hasselbeck returned to 'The View' today with a little more than expected -- her nipple.

The co-host of the chatfest ended her maternity leave and was back on the show, bringing with her a photo of her newborn Isaiah -- but that wasn't the picture that caused a controversy.

When sending around a different pic of her son to family and friends, she realized something was wrong. "You know when your baby smiles for the first time -- I reach for the iPhone and take the photo. No wonder why he is smiling -- because my nipple is in the photo!" she explained. Watch

"It's worse than drunk dialing. It's embarrassing," she said of passing the photo of her breast to her husband's family.

Isaia is Hasselbeck's third child with husband Tim. They are also parents to Grace and Taylor.

OMG!The Baby is Not black! Some babies are just darker right after birth. My Niece { who is part Italian and NOT Black} looked Very dark even Black or Mexican, w/a lot of long, straight, black hair, in her 1st photo immediately following her Birth. In the days following her birth, back home, she got lighter, and it was "clear" she wasn't Black/Mexican. Her hair turned Sun Blond and Curly as she hit almost 3 yrs. of age. I thought my Sister had bleached her hair and put a perm in it. It's just genetics! So, Please stop the hate speech! Who Cares, anyway!

I suspect the fuss is all about the never-ending goal of more publicity for herself and the show. Breasts & nipples are pretty common, after all.

Now that Elisabeth is back, I am switching to the Bonnie Hunt Show. I had alternated during the time that Elisabeth was gone, but now I'm a full time Bonnie fan. I (sorry to say) actually enjoyed The View on the days that Barbara was gone AND Elisabeth. It was like a double bonus. No more View for me. I know, switch the channel if you don't like it, right? That's what I've done, right to Bonnie. If she's on in your area, give her a watch.

I believe her baby got jaundice and that might be why the baby looked darker,,she said he was in the hospital for 2 weeks ..

Jaundice makes skin appear yellow, not black or brown........only Daddy and Mommy can make skin that color.

I am sick and tired of headlines on AOL about celebrity photos with tag lines such as: " So and so showed too much skin in pic with her baby son"! and "So and so, 80s actress(and in a bikini)" "Blankety-blank had a dress faux pas on the red carpet(and the censors missed it!)" I mean, really? You have nothing better to lure readers with? Come on. This does nothing but further perpetuate the false notion that we're all drooling, slobbering, sex addicts and MUST SEE THESE GLIMPSES OF NUDITY OR THE PROMISE OF IT!! Boring!!!!

I agree that EH needs to go as does Barbara. I only watch that show when both of them are off and I was actually starting to enjoy watching it again until I heard that hasselback is back. I think Babs did a disservice to republicans when she hired hasselback who is inarticulate and nieve to the point of being painful to watch. If you want political BALANCE, hire a republican who knows what they are talking about. The only reason to have hasselback representing republican conservative views is if Babs is trying to make all republicans look ridiculous.
