Jennifer Love Hewitt: Breakup Rumors Are 'Hurtful'

Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy aren't breaking up, despite a recent report that suggested Kennedy was still hung up on former flame, Shannon Funk. Even though she insists the relationship is fine, Hewitt is heartbroken over the rumors. "I'm not going to lie -- it's not annoying, it's hurtful," Hewitt told PEOPLE. "Because he is like the most awesome person."

"I really hate that people would make it seem like he's not really a good guy, and not treating me well. He treats me very well," she added.

Kennedy also took to his Twitter page to slam the rumors writing that it was completely "untrue and slanderous."

In March, Kennedy confirmed he was dating Hewitt while on Ryan Seacrest's radio show. "I'm in love, and I don't care... I'm a lucky man ... Yes, we are dating," he said.

People say things out of jealousy. Or to try and destroy something. Hewitt is a beautiful person and hope that she finds the happiness that she is so seeking. Aren't we all?

Well, you're not the one who has to go around the block, she is. Everyone is unique and couples click for different reasons. If we all had the same taste, life wouldn't be very interesting. Looks are not always everything and they eventually fade and if there is no foundation there in the relationship, well, the future won't be very bright, will it????
