Neighbors Threaten to Evict Madonna

One of Madonna's New York neighbors says the superstar's loud music and frequent dance sessions are causing a commotion.

Karen George, who lives above Madonna in a building on Central Park, said in a lawsuit filed Friday against the building's co-op board stating that the 'Material Girl' is using her apartment as a rehearsal studio, forcing neighbors to endure "blaring music, stomping and shaking walls," for up to three hours each day. The building's board says it has already threatened to evict Madonna.

George complained about "unreasonably high-decibel, amplified music" and vibrations pouring through walls, ceilings and radiators.

Madonna's representatives didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.

Why would Madonna believe it's okay to blare loud music and engage in foot-stomping dance routines in an apartment setting? Apartment living obviously is not the best arrangement for Madonna. She needs to get a HOUSE in the country--and make sure the rehearsal room is sound-proofed.

Madonna can break a leg for all I care. I cannot believe this is news. Who cares?? Not me. Madonna is old news...she needs to just sit back and be mommy to her kids and go away.....very far away from the cameras. Sick of seeing her, sick of hearing about her...I got a life and could care less about Madonna. Lovely how the media shoves all these idiots singers and actors and actresses right down our throats every day...who cares about them and their lives...they can have it. Madonna, what a joke that skanky woman is. Nasty is more like it. She needs to clean her act up already.

Madonna is a dirty-leg! Kick her out and send her back to wherever she came from. Hopefully out of the U.S. I remember seeing how she dressed for a show in Italy and I was embarrased.
